Reliably....because the owners have such great integrity. I've stayed here two different times, a week or more each trip, since my last review. Your primary host is Debora, and she is such a friendly, warm, hard working lady, that you will miss her and this place when you leave. I've said all I can say before, so just trust me... More

Absolutely wonderfu! We have stayed all over Italy and fine places in the US. This is one of our favorite places to stay, and probably the best hospitality of all. I don't how I can possibly add to other reviews here but I'll try. I returned home from Italy Oct. 1 and have been very busy back at work, but... More

It is hard to articulate the wonderful experience that is a stay at Locanda Pane e Vino. The location is fabulous - stepping out of the doorway one faces breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside, while moving a few paces down the road puts you into the heart of Cortona with its cobblestone streets lined with shops, restaurants, art galleries,... My daughter and I visited for a two night stay and Arnaldo and Deborah were so wonderful and helpful. They even picked us up at the train station ! The room we had was the best we have had so far on our 15 day adventure through Greece and Rome. Breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace and is delicious.... More

My husband and I parked just outside of the Centro and made our way to the Taverna to check in. Although the Taverna was closed the local museum kindly contacted Deborah, our host, who speedily came to our rescue, picking us up and checking us in to our 'lavender' room. Cosy and comfortable. A beautiful host in Deborah. Breakfast was... More

Deborah is a wonderful host and owner of this B&B. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night there. The breakfast was huge! We also ate dinner at their family owned restaurant in town called Taverna Pane e Vino - do not miss it! Her husband runs the restaurant and makes his own wine from... More

As part of our university studies we spend a term in Italy, a friend and I decided to hire a car and drive from Venice to Rome with multiple stops in between. One of these stops happened to be by chance, Cortona. We arrived to a dark and rainy town at around 7pm with no clue of where to park,... More

I loved my two night stay here, despite the rain that greeted me when I arrived in Cortona. Debora came and picked me up on the outskirts of town, which was very helpful. The room was spotless and modern, and the breakfast spread was out of this world! She even gave me a discount for being a single traveler for... More

This was a great bed and breakfast in Cortona. The owner Deborah and her husband were extremely kind and helpful. We ate at their restaurant and had a great meal. The room was nice and large and the breakfast was the best we had during our 2 weeks in Europe. Deborah even gave us a ride back to the train... More

We loved coming to Cortona, and our stay at Locanda Pane e Vino made it even better! We were there for only 2 nights unfortunately, but we loved it. There is only 3 rooms available there, so it is a very quaint place. We were very lucky that the owner (Deborah) was able to pick us up from the train... More
