We had a wonderful stay in the B & B Monte Oliveto in Firenze. Marta, Paolo and Nicolo (Donatella was in holidays) were unbelievable friendly and helpful. Marta gave us very good advices about the area. They were better than a travel guide. Expecially we enjoyed the breakfast which was extremely good and we loved the conversation. The quarter ist...

Donatella went above and beyond to welcome us into her home and treat us as family. She helped us with museum reservations, scheduling a taxi to the airport, and even made restaurant suggestions. The rooms were impeccably clean and homey. Donatella even mailed us a package of some belongings we mistakenly left behind. Wow talk about above and beyond!! We...

We had high expectations of Monte Oliveto after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and it exceeded even those. We were greeted by Donatella and given lots of local eatery recommendations before she headed off for a painting course leaving us in Marta's capable hands. We travel with 3 teenage daughters so the Mansard room was just perfect for them. Breakfasts were...

My friend and I spent several nights as guests of this fabulous bed and breakfast in Florence, Italy. The owners of the B & B, Donatella & Nicolò and their daughter Marta, are exceptional hosts. They have brochures on all of the places you might wish to visit and their knowledge of the area, restaurants and sights are a real...

This little gem, in a quiet neighborhood, sits up against the hills with a lovely garden in the back. Florence is small enough to walk everywhere, if you're in good shape. The cobble stone streets can be pretty hard on the feet and knees, but there is a convenient bus line near the B&B. Donatella is charming and wonderfully helpful...

We found B&B Monte Oliveto on Tripadvisor and are so glad we booked our stay there! It is situated perfectly in the quiet but thriving neighborhood on the other side of the river. The lively birds in the abutting park are the perfect way to start the day in Firenze. Donatella makes an amazing breakfast, cappucino, and even gluten-free treats...

Stayed in this perfect little B&B for 4 nights in April with my boyfriend. Wisteria room was clean and spacious with a lovely balcony over the garden. It is the hosts that make this place special. Donatella and Marta were so welcoming and couldn't have made us feel more at home in their beautiful house. They gave us loads of...

My husband and I stayed two nights at this B&B for our honeymoon. Donnatella is an amazing host, she provides a yummy spread in the morning with organic ingredients. She's very sweet and we really enjoyed talking about the history of Firenze with her! The rooms are cozy and clean, we felt right at home! The center of the city...

This place was great. Donatella was really welcoming. She made me a DELICIOUS breakfast every morning. I love organic food and everything she prepared was beautiful and of great quality. The location was perfect for me since it was close to a school that I was attending for 2 weeks. It is about a 20 minute walk from the more...

Donatella is a wonderful hostess, serves a 5 star breakfast and provides great suggestions for dining and site seeing. Our room, The Wisteria, was very large with a balcony and large bathroom. This location is across the river from central Florence; however, it is a very easy walk; and, you are close to good restaurants and Gelato. The shared bathroom...
