We stayed at NIL for two nights together with a travelling agency. The hotel overall is fine, nothing too special but clean and neat. However, the breakfast (there is a different ones for group bookings) was disgusting. I have never in my life had such a horrible breakfast at a hotel. There was three options mainly croissant (from days ago) and bread that you could not even cut. It’s also quite far from the city center -15min walking to the tram stop and 15-20 min with the tram.
The best way to pay more and get less i paid for single in dobble room and got asingle room for afour year old child when i complained in rec' i got abad attiude from them. the service in the hotle is por and the hotel is in aindustrial area far away from the center the one star that i gave is because it was very clean . The bar was poor but the barmen was nice
Cannot understand how this hotel is rated 4 stars Only 1 electric outlet to recharge phone - on opposite side of room from bed.. Walls are paper thin, including hearing the person next door using the toilet. My single bed is slam against the wall so knee knocks into wall at night. Several of fixtures are broken. supposed to have a non-smoking room but it reeks of smoke. Vending machine for mineral water was broken. Worst hotel experience I have had in many years.
It was a nice room, great breakfast with a lot of opportunities. Also if you have some allergies. The staff was very nice and helpful if you had some questions. It took a while to get your key to your room, if you decide to get it stored there. The pool was good too - we spent one day there because it cost 14 euro per person for one day. But it was quite nice to cool down. At the pool there is a little bar, where you can order beverages and food. The hotel is placed in a quietly neighbourhood, so you will not be disturbed. There is a metro about 15 minutes walk from the hotel and a supermarket about 5 minutes walk. There is also a tram train about 15 minutes from the hotel. We would come back, if we visit Florence again.
Nice Hotel in Firenze not too far from the city center that can be reached both by Taxi and Bus relatively easy friendly staff good service and English speaking and always willing to help cleaning also excellent big pool with suitable space.
This hotel is centrally located, near restaurants, shops, etc. One of the most important areas of the city. The outside of the building and common areas looks good. The WiFi signal and the service as a whole was good. They offer good breakfast. We were a group of 20+ and we all enjoyed the time.
A 4 star hotel ??? Seriosly ?? Lets start No kettle No hairdryer Rooms are small Ac is not reachable to bed No plug near the bed No pool No gym More over than all this … the maids I hanged out the card ‘do not disturb ‘ she kept on knocking the door, just for to change the towels and hoove the room … so it was useless the card outside. Another day i keep sleeping and i didnt realise someone was knocking she entered the room without permition and started hooving the room ….. Apart also the noises outside the rooms with the maids at 7.30 morning is something unextable Totally not recommanded at all +plus it is not f’mm cheap 4 nights =472 Never again
We stayed at this hotel as part of a group. First, the room smelled musty and was not clean. The bed spread and blanket were dated and shabby. I doubt they are cleaned between guests. We separated the two twin beds since we were not a couple and it was clear they don’t clean under the beds. We had to clean up the big dust balls. The air conditioning did not cool the room. We complained to the hotel but it was still not resolved on the second night. Finally, they have no respect for groups of tourists. They serve one breakfast to individual guests and another to groups. There was no fresh fruit. They served canned peaches. When I asked for fresh fruit, they said no - I was part of a group. The second day I ate in the regular dining room. They tried to tell me I could not eat there. I told them I would eat, so charge me. They charged to eat fresh fruit instead of canned fruit.…
We stayed in this hotel at the start of our trip due to the location. We we’re extremely disappointed with the service&rooms as you here everything in the rooms close to you. We decided to give them another chance on our last night&were again disappointed, again with the room noise&alsoGeneral manager(Danial). When asked if our breakfast was included with our booking through Booking.com the Ton he used in speaks to us was completely unexceptionable👎You should never speak to a customer the way he did. The end is,we gave this hotel a second chance&will never be staying there again.
Visiting Florence is always a joy as the city is stunning in every way. If you want a calm base away from the crowds, this is the place for you. It is extremely well connected to the city centre but quiet at night for a good nights sleep.I went just before the travel restrictions eased so was a little apprehensive but Italy is very safe as they are still strict.. If you are coming from Peretola aeroport it's only about 4 stops so about 20 minutes by metro which saves time and energy. You can get into the Centro storico by metro or train from Rifredi, in about 20 mins. The checkin was well organised and polite. I speak italian which helps. They are business like and polite and will be helpful. This is not a tiny pensione so expect a less family feeling. The room was really confortable , large and warm for a solo traveller..it was not noisy. One only idiosyncracy is the lack of kettle but frankly who stays in their room in Florence? That was also not a problem as there is a vending machine near the gym and a bar. I was too busy to use the facilities this time. I enjoyed breakfast a lot. It was mainly scrambled eggs or boiled eggs with bacon for me. Italians do not like their food boiling but it was hot. There was a huge selection of lovely cakes, pastries and cereals with fruit and yoghourts. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Most people wore masks walking around as it was expected by law, I think. I get the impression that it is a hotel used by business people, families visiting Careggi Hospital or more independent travellers who are focussed on sightseeing. I did not see large coach parties during my week stay. The area is partly residential and partly industrial close to a huge Coop but I think it's perfect as a base to explore away from the centre. I will stay again so thank you to all staff for their kindness.…
