Small room for my family of four but the staff was super friendly and the breakfast buffet and coffee bar was great. Can not beat the location- close to all the major sites yet off the beaten path to get away from the crowds of tourist.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ginori al Duomo. The location is excellent and the hotel is in a charming 16th century building. It is a very easy walk from the train station and everything you'd want to see. The staff were available and helpful. Breakfast was included and everything we could want. My only complaint is that we...

The concierges at Hotel Ginori are outstanding. My mom caught a bad head cold, and they helped us find the right medicine from the pharmacy. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was quiet at night. The hotel is centrally located, and everything seemed to be a 10-min walk or less.

We enjoyed this hotel more than the others in Florence (we had 3 of them). It is a real 1400s palazzo. The ceiling is painted like in Ufficci. Excellent beds, antique and stylized furniture. The breakfast is the best among 4-star Florence hotels we've stayed in. Several hot choices and a large variety of cakes. For coffee ask for attendance,...

My family stayed here for a week and we can't say enough good things! The breakfast was very good and there was a beautiful sitting area to enjoy it! By the third day they would start preparing us cappuccinos as soon as they saw us come downstairs. You would never guess how old the building is, everything is updated and...

Great place to stay. They are so friendly and accommodating. Rooms are super. Beds are great. Showers are perfect! And the price is reasonable! Hard to beat. Plus, they called Venice for us to reschedule something for our next town that had nothing to do with their hotel. Can't ask for more friendly then that! Steve

We booked The Hotel Ginori al Duomo for 3 nights. When we arrived we were told that we had been upgraded to a better room for the first night but would be moved for the remaining 2 nights, for that reason we did not unpack that night and left our case ready to be moved the following morning, carrying all...

Dear Jane, We would like to specify that you had a free upgrade for a Deluxe room for two nights. The second day you didn't let us know that your luggage was ready for being moved, you simply left. Anyway you could use the safe in the room or ask us for using a different safe. Your review seems to...

We visited Florence and stayed here for only 2 nights. I'm sorry we didn't stay longer. Great location and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. We highly recommend staying here! Thanks to the staff!

Our stay at Hotel Ginori al Duomo was nearly perfect. Check in was very easy, as our poor Italian was offset by their excellent English. We were very early for check in, so the staff graciously offered to check our bags in their locked closet, so we could start our explorations of Florence. The location could not have been more...
