We truly enjoyed our stay at EcoUrban back in November. The rooms are comfortable, with large beds and clean, modern finishes. The women who run the B&B are all very knowledgeable and kind, and we loved interacting with them. Breakfast was plentiful and perfect for a day of walking around this historic city. The B&B is within walking distance of the train station, Mercato Centrale, the Duomo and several other sites (all were wonderful but prepare yourself for walking a lot and bring comfortableshoes). Restaurants abound near this B&B, all of which are delicious, and be aware of the local and seasonal offerings (they are worth it). Florence is known for beef and leather, both of which you will fill in abundance near the inn. After a long day of walking and eating, you will be grateful and delighted to come back and relax in your room. I believe they offer massage services as well (you may need it!). All in all, one of the best experiences we had in Italy and a fantastic B&B. Please visit them; these women are wonderful hosts and people who deserve your patronage!…
The staff at Eco Urban B & B makes this bed and breakfast exceptional. They are extremely friendly, helpful with information about Florence, and make a wonderful breakfast. They helped me locate a wireless company and when I could not return the unit, they did it for me. Our room was clean, spacious, and a real joy to come back to each night. This is the first place I'd stay if I were traveling to Florence.
This is an excellent, reasonably-priced hotel, with caring and attentive staff. Our room was spotless and spacious. It felt like a mini-apartment. Gabriella greeted us every morning and escorted us to breakfast, describing the offerings. She is an absurdly good baker and made a gluten-free breakfast cake for my wife, who has an intolerance. I made a point to tell Gabriella that each day her GF cakes got tastier and tastier. The dining room is cozy, but airy and bright. The location is ideal. What a superb hotel!!
We came here on honeymoon for a one day stopover in Florence from Rome onto Venice and we are so glad that we chose this place. Not only is it comfortable and homey the lady who greeted us at the front desk (unfortunately forgot her name) was so amazing and friendly, she left a congratulatory note with champagne in our room and served us the best warm breakfast in the morning I wish I didn’t have to leave! Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!
This was our favorite hotel of our Italian trip. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it. It’s modern, VERY clean, and cozy. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. They helped make a dinner reservation for us. We appreciated the sweet touches of a delicious snack near our beds every night. The bed was comfortable and a dream to sleep in. I was blown away by the quality for the price. My boyfriend used their laundry service and thought it was great. The location is perfect. Close to the train station and an easy walk to all the major sites in the city. You couldn’t ask for a nicer hotel. This is a wonderful hotel and we’ll definitely stay there again when we’re back in Florence.
