This is our second time back in this same hotel after 5 years. The location is fantastic near pontevecchio and self service laundry is only 2 minutes away by walking.

It’s lovely that the staff, Santiago remembers us. The rooms were beautiful with generous space. Staff are friendly and warm and kind. It’s a pleasure to return to the hotel daily to see happy faces!

Before we left for Rome, Santiago also recommended us restaurants in Rome. We managed to go to one and it was truly nice!

The only downside was that we could hear some traffic noises but all solved with the windows closed or ear plugs.

The great service, well appointed rooms with nice smelling Acqua di Parma toiletries really make us look forward to going back!

This was our second stay at Ponte Vecchio Suites (late September 2023) and this stay was as wonderful as 2022's. The staff here is truly "at your service". It's a small operation with a dozen or so rooms uniquely remodeled and fit into the historic building space that this place has to offer. Due to the size of the operation, you see the same staff faces morning and night, and we saw the same people that we saw the previous year. We already feel as though they are family. They greet you every morning and night, pour sparking wine for you, make appointments for you, and generally care about getting all the details right.

In some of the rooms, there is window technology that makes a tight seal that cuts out all city noise. We had this last time, our room this time seemed to have different windows, but it was still pretty quiet in our room. Regardless of your room, they are very clean, and well-equipped, the showers are wonderful and they keep you stocked on Aqua di Parma products (local beauty brand).

We can't say enough good things about this place and hope to call it our home in Florence for many years to come.

A few steps from one of the most suggestive corners to see Ponte Vecchio.
We decide to take a trip to Florence at Easter, with our big dog and we find this perfect location which provides us with a holiday service for Neve for the night. The room with hydromassage is spacious, perfectly looked after and with soft drinks available as well as a kitchenette, double TV, Easter gift and general courtesy. Very satisfying breakfast with the director supervising every need.
Too good to leave, but Florence still wins. We collect the big dog a stone's throw away and set off for a walk just a stone's throw away from a thousand city wonders.
Parking for the car very close with ZTL included in the price.
Very comfortable, welcoming.
A way to enjoy every second of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The location was excellent for us. Out of the hotel/suites turn right, then right again and there you are on the Ponte Vecchio, 5 minutes walking fairly slowly. A few minutes walk the other way and you arrive at the Pitti Palace. The staff were wonderful ! The kind I would expect in a 5 * hotel. ( they also spoke good English) Breakfast was very good. The accommodation only has 14 rooms/suites, so the breakfast room was not big but very adequate, and well stocked with a variety of food including scrambled eggs ! At 6 pm there is a ‘happy hour’ at the lobby/breakfast area, and the drinks are free of charge. I do not think I have experienced that in any other hotel. Receptionist gave a list of nearby restaurants with brief descriptions upon check in and offered to book for us. The room was a very good size. I had requested ground floor near to the lobby as we are an ‘older couple’. It was ‘spot on’. Sitting area was slightly separated from the bed area, ( super comfortable) which was nice as my husband could sit on a comfy sofa watching TV without disturbing me. The kitchen area was ‘hidden’ i.e. it looked like a wardrobe. just open the door, and Voila ! coffee machine, sink, electric hob etc. even a small dishwasher. Close the doors and it was so nice not to have to keep looking at a sink etc. We did not use the spa so cannot comment on that.

Very cozy hotel. Very attentive, sensitive staff, speaking many languages. I would especially like to mention the wonderful Olga, she treats guests as friends who came to visit her, answers all questions, helps in finding attractions and restaurants. When we arrived we were greeted by Santiago - thanks to his smile we immediately felt that we had chosen the best hotel in Florence.
Delicious, varied breakfast, in the evening from 18.00 to 19.30 "Happy hour" - snacks, drinks to lift your spirits.
The bed is comfortable, cleaned several times a day, bed sheets are changed every day, mineral water, Nestle coffee machine, kettle and tea.
The location is perfect. Everything is close.
We haven't left yet, but we already want to come back here.

In my opinion, the hotel does not meet 5-star standards. The room facing the street is far too loud, there was constant noise all night long from cars and people shouting and singing (that's probably why there were Orotabs in the bathroom!). The bathroom and toilet are only separated from the room by a glass door. The fitness center consists of a treadmill in front of the concrete wall and a stepper in the basement and is not a separate room. Positive: the room was large and clean, the beds were good, the staff very friendly. Price (514 euros per night) - performance ratio is not good.

Our stay at Ponte Vecchio Suites & Spa was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, nestled right in the heart of Florence and just a short stroll from the iconic Ponte Vecchio bridge. It made exploring the city so easy, with all the major attractions and charming streets right at our doorstep.

One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic recommendation from the staff to visit Piazza Michelangelo. The panoramic views of Florence from there were really nice - tip go at sunset and enjoy the evening vibe.

The suite itself was luxurious and incredibly comfortable, and having a spa bathtub in the room was such a treat. After a day of sightseeing, it was the perfect way to unwind and relax. The attention to detail and comfort in the room made our stay feel extra special.

We highly recommend Ponte Vecchio Suites & Spa for anyone looking for a blend of comfort, luxury, and an unbeatable location in Florence!

The Ponte Vecchio Suites and Spa is in a great location about 100 steps from the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge and minutes to Florence's center. The hotel staff is especially friendly and helpful from the moment you arrive thru the moment you depart. The rooms are cleaned and nicely furnished, we had a bedroom and living room which was a welcome surprise for a European hotel. I must commend the staff as we were leaving early for the train station leaving Florence to go to Rome, there was not enough time for breakfast. The staff offered and graciously packed us to go breakfasts for our train ride. That was totally unexpected and a really nice gesture. Car service from the airport arranged by the hotel staff was awesome as we missed our connecting flight from Paris to an airline delay in Boston. One call and our driver greeted us at the airport when we arrived finally. I would highly recommend the Ponte Vecchio Suites and Spa for its location and especially for its excellent staff who go out of their way to make your stay a special experience.

This review is long overdue! We hadn’t originally planned to stay at Ponte Vecchio Suites & Spa, but after a disastrous experience with a rental agency that left us in a filthy flat and €1,200 out of pocket, we needed a new place—fast. Our priorities were clear: somewhere comfortable, reasonably priced, and centrally located in the heart of Florence.

This charming boutique hotel turned out to be the perfect solution. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk from the iconic Ponte Vecchio and a 5-minute stroll to the Uffizi Gallery. From here, everything in Florence is within walking distance.

The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They went out of their way to make our stay as smooth as possible. We stayed in the Executive Suite, which was clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was fantastic, and we slept like babies despite the sweltering 36°C outside, thanks to the perfectly functioning air conditioning.

Breakfast was just right, with a good variety of options, and once again, the staff made the experience even better with their warm and attentive service. On our last day, the reception team arranged a taxi for us, which arrived in just two minutes—super efficient!

When we return to Florence, we’ll absolutely consider staying here again. A huge thank you to the entire team for turning what started as a stressful trip into a truly memorable one!

The service was exceptional! Not only were the hotel and location themselves excellent- the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were warm and welcoming and attended to our every need, storing our luggage after checkout (and carefully returning a headphone we’d left in the room!) and calling us a cab to the train station. We also appreciated the complementary happy hour every day with delicious Prosecco, snacks, and red wine. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in Florence!

I'm not sure when the suites were updated, but they're lovely. As long as you keep your windows shut at night you wont hear the street noise, but let me give you a tip about keeping your windows shut. There's a button next to the one that closes the curtains and you'll press it and you won't know what it's for. Well, it very silently opens the windows. Two things will happen. It will turn off the a/c because when the windows are open the a/c automatically shuts off and no one tells you that, so it gets hot and noisy because the windows are open. So don't touch that button!! As far as pets, I'm not sure, you'll have to call the hotel and ask.
