This hotel is in a fantastic location. Right in the heart of Florence and close to the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Duomo and other Florentine sites of interest. All within a 20-minute walk for easy access to the hallmark Florence experiences that this city is known for all over the world.
The hotel is a boutique hotel with personalized service and a stellar staff that wants your stay to be amazing. The staff is present when you need them and looks you directly in the eye with an authentic query about how your stay is going and how they can make it even better. Then they recede to allow you to enjoy your stay without being intrusive. Perfect service in my opinion.
The room I booked was quiet, spacious and beautifully appointed. Details like an in-room fridge, coffee maker and a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower and full, deep spacious tub made the room a travel sanctuary when I wanted to escape the fast paced Florentine city life.
The housekeeping staff was exceptional and took wonderful care of the room in an unobtrusive way that really made me feel well taken care of and allowed me to rest down and enjoy my stay. The turn down service was such a treat with a lovely sweet treat on the pillow every evening when I returned to the room.
The front desk staff was very professional and eager to please and got my friend a reservation at her destination restaurant easily with their solid relationships in the Florentine travel and fine dining community.
The breakfasts were a site to behold with gracious staff directing you to the beautifully appointed buffet. They immediately took your coffee order and produced lovely cafe Americanos, cappuccinos and espresso. We delighted in delicious prosciutto fresh, ripe melon, roasted vegetables, fresh juices, yogurt, and small, delicious breakfast cakes and pastries. In addition, they would make anything you wanted from the grill. I ordered French toast one morning and two luscious slices of sourdough bread came lightly dressed with syrup, powdered sugar and heavenly, beautiful raspberries to top it off. Delicious!
The hotel comes with a lovely spa and I took advantage of this by getting a manicure from a wonderful Portuguese woman who loved cats just as I do. At that point in the trip, I was missing them and we bonded over our mutual love of cats while getting a beautiful and much needed manicure.
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a strategically placed, boutique hotel with excellent food, service and wonderfully quiet, serene and relaxing rooms.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in late May 2024. Having flown in to Peretola airport and taken the T2 tram to the ‘Unita’ stop in the centre of Florence, the hotel was an 8 minute stroll from there.
Upon arrival we were met by concierge staff Chiari and Gisel. Both were really friendly and helpful, providing a welcome drink and taking the time to talk us through the welcome pack which included information about the hotel and its’ amenities, as well as recommendations for local restaurants, places of interest to visit and a city map. Gisel was good enough to provide us with some orientation and tell us about some nice places to go for sunset drinks etc.
We were delighted to be told that we had been given a free room upgrade, and so stayed in Room 102, which overlooked the street to the front of the hotel. The room was clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. It was also very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. As we were celebrating my girlfriends birthday, the hotel team provided us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, which was a lovely touch.
The breakfast each morning was lovely. A great selection of cereals, nuts, yogurts, fresh fruit, cheeses, cold meats and smoked salmon, as well as freshly delivered croissants and pastries. There was also a selection of cooked items such as bacon, scrambled eggs, frankfurters, mushrooms, and omelettes made to order, as well as tea and coffee.
We booked an hour in the hotel spa and were delighted to find out that the €75 fee meant that we had sole use of the facilities which included a jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms and well-being showers. We were even offered some Prosecco by a member of the Spa Team.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city. The Duomo, Academia Gallery, Ponte Vecchio Bridge and other local attractions were all in easy walking distance, I’d say within 15 minutes.
This is a really lovely hotel and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I have been staying at this property for many years now. From year to year our choice falls on Golden Tower Hotel. The hotel is strategically positioned close to all the attractions of Florence while remaining in a secondary street, with limited access and therefore isolated from the hustle and bustle of the street and the celebrations of tourists. The structure is elegant, refined and always attentive to the needs of its guests. You feel pampered in everything from check-in to the sad check-out, made sad by having to return to normality. The rooms are finely furnished with elegant style and refined furniture. The cleaning service is always diligent and takes care of the room in a truly excellent way. The bathrooms, livable, are large and equipped with comforts. Throughout the hotel you live in a refined and scented environment with pleasant and characteristic fragrances. The WiFi service is excellent throughout the entire hotel and has excellent reception in the rooms too. The breakfast is extensive and can satisfy all tastes, from savory to sweet. Staff always present but never intrusive, kind and always available to give advice on the attractions that Florence offers from museums to restaurants. A heartfelt thank you to all the hotel staff who were able to give us a stay in line with expectations.

We have booked a room at the Golden Tower Hotel for the second time and are absolutely delighted.
Location: You don't have a view in the hotel. But that's not bad, because the hotel has an exceptionally good location in the city center. The historical sights are almost all within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance (Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio etc.). The train station is also within walking distance. Thanks to the great organization of the reception, you can hardly wait more than 2 minutes for a taxi.
Service: The team was extremely attentive both times and used all the levers to fulfill our wishes. The service is fast, reliable and courteous. A big thank you to Daniele, Nami, Riccardo, Khaled and everyone else whose names we could not find out. Most employees (of all levels) are even multilingual.
Rooms: The rooms are spacious and were clean upon our arrival. We rented a tower room both times. These are handsomely decorated and have an exciting layout. We greatly appreciated that the room was made twice a day. So even after a short afternoon nap you came back to a made room in the evening. When the window is closed, you can hardly hear the party noise on the streets, if at all.
Breakfast: The breakfast was always rich (Continental Breakfast). You can put together a smoothie and have it made in the kitchen if necessary. Here, too, the brigade works very flexibly and even remembers the guests' preferences for the following day.
Conclusion: A lovely hotel with an incredibly motivated team in the centre of Florence. In the low season we enjoyed a comparatively cheap stay for a 5-star luxury hotel. We recommend the hotel without reservations and look forward to the next visit!

Perfect stay. Pure elegance. Central Location for walking to all the sites. From arrival to departure, we were enveloped in elegant surroundings and attentive service. This 16th century building is pristine, tastefully decorated, bright with light, and with all modern conveniences. We have stayed throughout Italy and found the golden Tower and spa to be an absolute gem. Our room was spacious, quiet, and perfectly clean. Not only did we have a super comfortable king sized bed (not a standard in Europe), it was clothed in crisp luxurious linens and soft pillows. There was even room for a loveseat & coffee table placed before the bed! Every detail of our room was impressive- the his & hers armoire that lit up upon opening (bathrobes & slippers inside), the window treatments, the wood floors, the high tray ceilings, the large marble bathroom w/ luxury toiletries, fluffy over-sized towels, shower and large soaking tub were all amazing. The complimentary breakfast was a gourmet extravaganza that included made to order coffees. All of the staff were professional, informative, friendly, courteous and approachable. Thank you for a great stay!

The most outstanding thing about this hotel is the service of its staff, which is excellent, even before your stay begins. I received an email days before it arrived to inform me that the day my stay began was the Florence Half Marathon, so they made certain recommendations for my arrival at the hotel. Once we arrived, the service they provide is exceptional, they have prepared a folder with all the details of the accommodation as well as tour options, places to visit, restaurants (some of them with Michelin stars), etc. The rooms are comfortable and a good size, and every day after cleaning they leave you a complimentary biscotti, it may be something small but it is a detail in the end. One day we took time to have massages, one with hot stones and another with grape oil, and they were also good; If you have the opportunity to pamper yourself while you are staying, it is worth it. The location is central and is on a small street, so at night there is no noise and you can rest. The reception staff always supports you clearly and is always cordial with each of your questions and requests.

Firstly the location for a visit to Florence is perfect! Everything is in walking distance and bring in the pedestrian area there are no traffic sounds. The hotel is a beautiful boutique style with a small bar and room service. The room was immaculately clean and the bed do very comfortable. But it was the staff that made our stay so perfect. From the moment we walked in everyone was so welcoming and friendly and helpful. They recommended where to go for sightseeing and good restaurants and also trips out. I cannot praise them enough - we will definitely stay here again and will be telling all our friends where to stay on their visit to Florence. Well done to all!!

The location of this hotel means you don’t need to worry about taxi or any other public transport to get to all the major attractions. Fantastic staff who made our 30th wedding anniversary a memorable celebration. Their restaurant recommendations all hit the mark and suited us in every way. All staff go out of their way to make your stay special- my husband even took a cheeky opportunity to ask for flowers to be organised for me which they accommodated without any fuss. Breakfast was plenty and they even offered to make extras like omelettes and fresh juices- thank you guys, you are all Super Stars and a credit to your employer- Thank you for making our trip so special and I even managed to avoid the leather market 😂👍🏾🤗🤗

I highly recommend staying at Golden Tower in Florence. It is clean, the staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating. They have a turn down service every night. The rooms are very clean and have all the amenities you need. Nami at the front desk was very welcoming when we arrived tired from our journey. She offered us water both on arrival and departure for our journey. Breakfast is included with a large variety of fruits, meats, pastries and fresh squeezed juice of any kind. They also offer eggs any way you want. The Cappuccino was delicious! The location is ideal within walking distance to many restaurants and museums but far enough away to not be bothered by people passing by. You can have the front desk get a taxi to the train station or where you would like to go. We will stay here again if we come back to Florence.

Hello we have just stayed in a luxury twin room. There was no view from our room just the shops across the narrow lane. It is a small hotel with only 29 rooms and in the middle of the city so I do not think any rooms are with views. Fantastic location for restaurants, galleries, bars, churches etc. All within minutes walk. Can be a bit noisy at night.
I am just about to review the hotel
