This is a wonderful comfy bed & breakfast. Upon arrival Brunno makes you feel right at home. He displayed a beautiful home made apple cake he just took out of oven for us to enjoy. Our room was clean quiet and perfect the general area spacious and well furnished With hand painted paintings by Brunno himself. It was in a...

We stayed here twice for a total of 5 nights on our recent trip. The place is perfectly located between the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria so getting anywhere in the Center of Florence is easy. The people are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. They give you a key to the front door so access is always...

We paid 200 Euro/per day for our room and I have to say the room was really really bad. The bathroom was so small that you can hardly move in it. The bed was not for 2 persons, for sure. One of the nights we were freezing and there was no remote for the air conditioning ( at 12oçlock there's...

My fiancé and I had a 2 day stay at Badia Fiorentina early September. It's a small, simple, friendly B & B, the location couldn't be more perfect for a weekend trip away exploring all the famous sites of this beautiful city. Great restaurants and bars nearby and a little supermarket right next door. The staff were incredibly helpful with...

Location of the room is great! close to the center of everything. Bruno the owner does not speak english, so it was a challenge to speak with him! Overall it was ok, We got room 3 assigned to us, but it does not have a bathroom so we had to use a bathroom that was designated to us, unfortunately other...

Stayed here for three nights back in July 2014 whilst travelling through Italy. First of all, the location is amazing. 15 minutes walk from the train station at the most and no more than 10 minutes to pretty much anywhere.. Set right in the middle of the centre but still really quiet inside due to the pedestrianisation of the city....

We just returned from Florence where we stayed at the Dante apartment. This is part of the Badia Fiorentina B&B and is right next door. The apartment sleeps three and is neat and clean, the kitchen equipped to make simple meals. Wifi was very good, the hosts have also provided several adaptors to plug/charge your gadgets. Bruno and his daughter...

So let me make this clear. We did not get to stay at the location advertised. We decided not include breakfast with the room, and apparently based on this decision, we were asked to stay in a studio apartment adjacent to Ponte Vecchio. The problem is that we did not know this until we arrived in Florence by train from...

Dear guests. I'm sorry you had the feeling of having been moved to a different place from the one booked but it is not so. If you look at your reservation you can see that there is written Apartment Ponte Vecchio, and in the description says 'Annex Studio' in 10 minutes walking. My father perhaps didn't explained well that you...

This B and B, which is also the home of Bruno our delightful host, is located close to all the main Florence sights, none were more than a 10-15 minute walk away. Breakfast was lovely, orange juice or water, cereals, fresh coffee, freshly baked rolls and croissants, a selection of jams and honey, cold meats and cheese, delicious pear cake,...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
