Picture perfect small hotel in a superb location, walking distance to all the major sights. The room is elegantly appointed, on the small side but very comfortable with a very comfortable closet and shelves. Lovely staff makes you feel very welcome and provide great service. Nice breakfast served at the lounge.
Our room was sophisticated with a modern decor along with a stellar bathroom furnished with top of the line toiletries and amenities. It was also quiet despite the hotel being in the center of Florence. The AC worked well during a 95 degree heat wave. The staff was wonderful and helped us each day with either calling for dinner reservations, tips on where the closest ATM was, calling ahead to our next location for verification of check-in times or getting a taxi to take us to the airport. We had reserved 3 rooms as there were 5 of us. We got there 2 hours before check-in time and there was 1 room ready for us so that we could drop our bags, refresh ourselves and go out on the town without missing a beat. Excellent forethought on the part of the staff. I would go back there in a heartbeat!…
We stayed here for 3 nights in September. You can't beat the location, it is steps from everything you want to see. The rooms are nicely appointed and good sized, the bathroom sink was in the bedroom in our room which was a little odd, but ok. It was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was included and very nice, pillows were soft and comfortable. Staff were accommodating - helped us book dinners and taxis. The only kind of weird thing is that there is no lobby, it is just rooms in what looks to be a converted apartment building. But we didn't spend much time there anyway as we were out touring around the city. I would recommend for a tourist trip if you are there for less than 4 days. Our stay was 5 stars, but this is not what I would consider to be a 5 star hotel.
Lovely hotel in a central location. In easy walking distance to tourists spots and nice restaurants. Room was very clean. Staff were also very helpful. Not a negative for the hotel, but we struggled to find it on google maps as it was taking us to the wrong location. We were expecting a hotel reception but it is in a sort of apartment building.
This little gem simply ticked every box. Situated in the centre of the shopping area and within walking distance to all the tourist spots, I feel very safe even walking late at night, however, the hotel rooms are amazing quiet despite of the hustle and bustle outside. All the rooms we have booked for our family are very clean, new and beautifully decorated, the bedroom bathtub made the whole room looks stylish and elegance and it is so perfect to have a relaxing bath soak in the hot afternoon after doing all the walking. Although the reception desk doesn't open 24 hours, Regina answered my text quickly and solved my problem when I needed help late in the evening. I would definitely go back to stay next time when I visit Florence again!
My wife and I were only able to stay one night in Florence, but Corte was the perfect landing spot for all things Florintine. Regina and Valentina worked the desk and were lovely before, during, and after our stay. We even met the owner twice who, though he didn't appear to speak much English, was also welcoming. The room was truly magnificent. Perfectly attenuated with regal design and comfort. Its location put us within a minute of The Duomo and not much farther from Accademia, Uffizi, and the Arno river. We hope to spend more time in Florence in the future and, if we do, Corte will absolutely be our home base once again.
Where do I begin? . . This place is simply amazing! Luxurious rooms packed with everything you could need for an indulgent stay whilst visiting Florence. Amenities, breakfast, customer service was all five star. Also …. Fluffiest towels, lux robes and slippers.. We didn’t want to leave
When booking this hotel, we were concerned as we would be arriving close to midnight after nearly an entire day of travel and jet lag. We knew the reception would be closed by that time and worried about our language barrier and how we would gain entrance to the hotel. From the moment we booked, Viviana was in contact with us and extremely responsive with clear communication. We easily gained access to our hotel and room, thanks to her. The room was small, but beautiful, and in the heart of Florence. The next morning, we were cheerfully greeted by Viviana, and then the two lovely ladies (Ida & Yonida) who were serving the expansive breakfast buffet, which was included with our room. Viviana even helped us with dinner reservations, finally finding a place for us as most places were booked for that evening. Francesca in housekeeping was also very kind. We will recommend this hotel to anyone we know who is going to Florence.…
Gorgeous hotel! Everyone was so kind, helping us book restaurants and visit sites. The location is unbeatable - we walked there from the train station and easily reached all the sites Florence had to offer. The room was so clean and quiet, with a lovely view. We would always come back here!
Without going into long detail, I just want to report that this hotel went beyond the strictly necessary to accomodate me. Their hospitality definitely makes me want to stay there next time I am in Florence.
