Palazzo Guadagni not only reached our expectations but exceeded them. The rooms were stunning, clean and well decorated, the breakfast was varied (I'd like to see how many hotels serve FRESH fruit salad these days) and served on their absolutely magnificent terrace that overlooks Piazza S. Spirito and the rolling hills of the Tuscan valley. Mesmerizing really when you are...

This is a little gem in Florence! Situated in Piazza Santo Spirito this cozy hotel with its friendly staff is the perfect location for all sights in the city. This was my second stay here and this time I took 3 friends with me to share 2 twin rooms. Whilst the building retains its old Italian charm the rooms are...

Gentlemen - if you are booking a romantic weekend for you and your better half to Florence, but can not afford the large 5 star hotels along the Arno, then your partner should not be disappointed with the Palazzo Guadagni. A great location, big rooms, wonderful staff, and an absolutely charming hotel. We are a family of six and fit comfortably in two rooms. The terrace view is fantastic, and everything about our stay was relaxed, friendly and convenient.

What a surprise! We loved staying here in December 2010. We spent three nights in Florence and this cosy little place was amazing. So centrally located that we were able to walk quickly and easily where ever we wanted to go. The rooms were large and comfortable with airconditioning, bath, shower, TV and amazing views over Florence. The owner was...

Extremely good value in a fantastic central location. Quirky, individual decor was refreshing after staying in so many clinical hotels recently. It was nice to have air conditioning as it was a very warm weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. We enjoyed our evenings sitting on the lovely terrace listening to the sounds of the market place...

This hotel was fabulous, our room was just the basic double but it was huge, very big comfy bed, air conditioned, lovely big window overlooking the square, high ceilings. The best thing about the hotel is the beautiful loggia (terrace), which is a lovely area to sit and read a book in the evening, with the view of the square....

This hotel was a former palace and has large spacious rooms. We were pleased with the service, staff, and overall experience.
