Whenever I travel around, I look for something that has an excellent location, a local style and at the same time it's comfortable lets me feel like at home. That is the case of Cicerone Guest House, right in the centre of Florence, easy connected to the station and to all the other venues in city and surroundings by bus,... More

The room was very spacious and clean, but we found the shower area to be very small. Daily maintenace was done and all basic needs were provided, except for a safety vault that we deem very necessary. Breakfast had a good variety. Checking in and out were convenient. The property is a 10-15 minute walk from the main train station... More

Less than 10min walk from S.M.N train station and the Duomo. Very helpful staff. Room was tidy and clean. Very good Wifi and hot water all the time The breakfast was basic but more than enough to start your day. The check in procedure is slightly weird. You ring a doorbell and be sure to say your name and that... More

We took the fast intercity from Termini Roma and it arrived dead on time, reaching 250 kph. 10 minutes walk from the train station in Florence, Firenze Santa Maria Novella (quite a mouthful). We were greeted by the very friendly owner and shown to our nice room. After a good night's sleep on comfortable beds and quiet air con, we... More

The location was excellent, an easy and beautiful 10 minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast was the best, unlimited pastries, panini maker, milk, coffee, juice, jelly, fruits, cheese and ham. Place was clean and rooms were a good size, bathroom a bit tight but then again, this is a b&b, not a hotel. Owner was friendly. Place does not... More

Location is excellent. Arrived by train and 15 minutes later we were settled in hotel. The walk to the main sightseeing area was easy and Florence was stunning. We found a good restaurant close by hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical Italian. Once the street activity closed the place was quiet and peaceful. good value for... Cicerone is excellently located - close to the railway station and in easy walking distance of main places of interest. Close by there are many restaurants and shops. The room we had was spacious, clean and comfortable. The en-suite had been squeezed in so it was a bit small but OK. Breakfast was excellent - a huge choice of high... More

Very friendly and honest host, she's very kind. Free luggage storage provided. Breakfast is good, free of charge. WIFI is strong and fast enough. It is close to central station, about 10 minutes walk. I read some reviews prior to make my booking. Someone complained about the noise and claimed it felt like sleep in the street, I thought that... We arrived by train at night and the accommodation was probably about ten minutes walk from the station. The street was easy to find but because of the peculiar numbering system on buildings finding the exact location of the guest house was a little challenging. Be aware red numbers are for businesses and blue numbers are for residences. The accommodation... More

+: Owner is very friendly and she kindly and promptly reacted to my request. -: Well, it was bit hard to find the guesthouse as it is on the 2nd floor of a building. Would it be nicer if they told me more detailed check-in process.
