Even if the room was a little small and the climate control somewhat primitive, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Clean and extremely well located on the quiet side of the ponte vecchio with all the best restaurants in florence (ie where the locals eat high quality and relatively inexpensive food). Service is very welcoming and helpful and they offer...

Stayed four nights in a river view room. If you possibly can go for a view - it was the best location! We had the "entry level" Arno view room. It was on the seventh floor and looked over the rooftops of Florence to the Duomo - look to the right and there was the Ponte Vecchio! just one floor...

Just back from our stay! From check in to check out, the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was lovely, we got a free upgrade to a river room with a nice terrace with an excellent view. The lobby is very nice and we had tea there one afternoon, although this was almost ruined (for us and everyone...

I visit a lot of hotels, but this was the first time I entered a room and exclaimed, "Wow!" It was night, the curtains over the floor-to-ceiling window were open, and I got a close-up, unobstructed view of the Ponte Vecchio, lit at night. It was so beautiful that it took my breath away. The room itself was spacious, with...

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
