As soon as we arrived we knew this place was special. It has the best views of Florence and the rolling hills of Tuscany. The grounds are beautifully manicured, including a pool, gardens, olive grove, and donkeys! The hotel itself is lovely and maintains its history, while having all amenities we needed. The bed is incredibly comfortable and our room... More

Dear Guest, By saying that you really felt at home here in Bellosguardo, you have paid us the greatest compliment of all. That is exactly what we are striving for : to see that our guests feel relaxed and comfortable, not over-awed by the proportions of a Medieval/Renaissance building. Thank you so very much for your wonderful review. We look... More

Absolutley fan-TAS-tic. The views overlooking the old city of Florence nestled in the rolling hills and olive groves of Tuscany is magnificent...I can't imagine a better view of this area. Dating back to the 12th century, the medieval architecture is wonderfully modernized (well...there was no shower, just the convertible shower head, but the claw-footed tub was terrific) our room was... Words cannot explain the beauty and magic of this place. From its enchanting "castle like" rooms to the breathtaking view overlooking Tuscany, easily one of the most beautiful place on earth! The staff: Sean Michelle, Luca, Julia, etc,...and Anna, the charming owner who invited us into her home for a cooking class and so much more! 5+++ stars!!!

This hotel has an absolutely incredible view of Florence and it was a really neat experience to stay here but it was missing a lot of modern luxuries. We came here after staying at a five start resort in Provence so I may have had a biased experience. If you're up for old world charm (feels a bit like you're... More

Dear Guest, You quite understood the essence of Torre di Bellosguardo. On the other hand we have never tried to be a five star hotel, neither in our prices nor in many small details of pure luxury. If you read our description of Bellosguardo you will see that we are a different kind of hotel whose chief aim is not... More

I came here with family to visit and stayed here. I'll keep it simple. It was one of the most beautiful places I've been. The architecture, atmosphere, and the VIEW! But above all, the people here were incredible. I would like to commend Mr. Jean-Michel for his incredible service and attention to our family while our stay. Thank you, Mr.... More

We spent a long weekend here in the middle of September 2016. The view is to die for and the staff do everything they can to make your stay perfect. Lunch by the pool is amazing and we had room 6 with the best views over the city. Laid back and relaxed grandeur. Will be coming back.

Amazing view from a treasure of a hotel. The grounds feel as if you are in the country but moments away from the city. I almost didn't want to leave. Found out Dante and Galileo both frequented this spot. Pool was great after hot day in town.

Incredible stay. We have stayed at a lot of nice places, but Torre di Bellosguardo has just a uniquely magical vibe. No one does elegant informality like the Tuscans. The hotel itself is unique and gorgeous. The grounds are quirky, a little wild, a lovely place to walk around or find a quiet place to read. Our room, a suite... More

The beauty, charm and outstanding view of this place cannot be overstated. It is the ultimate respite from the chaos of the historic center of Florence and I would recommend it to anyone who has at least three days to visit Florence. The staff was quite kind and helpful as well, particularly Roberto and Jean. Having a pool to retreat... More

Really lovely place to stay - full of character, very few people, stunning views of Florence especially by the pool. Lovely gardens, and really excellent cookery course too. Learnt how to make pasta and pesto from scratch and then ate it all for supper! Delicious. Also can walk into town centre in about 15 minutes, or up to the Belvedere.... More
