We had a small room at the front. It was fairly basic but it had a great view of the Duomo. We were out all day so all we needed was the room was to sleep in. It was very hot when we were there - no A/C - but the fan helped out a lot. Great location - but...

We booked accomodation months in advance asking for air conditioning and a view. They could not provide us either and they never sent us email to tell us. The room was dusty and smelt of mold from bathroom next door. The fans were not sufficient in the heat so we had to move. Filippo the owner made it difficult to...

We stayed here for one night and was pleased! The location is unbeatable, price is affordable, and the room has everything you need for a base to explore Florence. We literally just used the room to sleep in, but it was just so convenient to be in the centre of everything.

It's not just about the view (which was only from our bathroom- but wonderful). You walk out the door and BOOM! you are there. Hello Duomo! The room was clean and comfy. Fresco ceilings are lovely. Breakfast was delicious! Philip was so kind and helpful. I would love to stay here again and see the view from another room.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights last October. The window literally opens up to the Duomo...so obviously the location can't be beat. And for the price, this was the place to stay for travelers on a budget. Thanks again Phillip!

For the price you pay, you get a really good stay at the Duomo View B&B. Filippo was a good-natured host and made our stay memorable. He had good information about events, places to eat, and was always available when we needed his help. We were upgraded to a room with a private bath, had access to the communal fridge...
