We stayed 3 nights in late July. We arrived by train and just walked to the hotel with our luggage...very easy. Our room was in a separate building from the main hotel and what a treat that was (room 102?). It was huge by any standard...tall ceilings, three rooms. The breakfast was just fine, staff excellent, nice and quiet (despite...

Very impressed with the Albani which is ideally located for the Duomo and central Florence. It is a walk to the river as mentioned by previous reviewer, but Florence is a very manageable size. The rooms are really lovely with nice finishes and great bathrooms. We had two rooms for the family with one entrance so it was like a...

We only stayed here for one night which was a shame because it's an absolutely beautiful hotel. Located very close to the train station which was great. It was pretty far from the river but it's a fun walk. We had a two bedroom suite and the biggest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel. We all agreed it was...

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is minimalistic but enough choice for most tastes - especially if you like cakes! We received a bottle of fizz from the hotel in celebration of our wedding and our room was lovely. We had a beautiful roof terrace overlooking the city. Walking distance to all of the attractions of Florence and...

Stayed in a 2 Room Family suite in July2013. Cannot be closer to SMN train station, and 10 minute walk to Duomo, and walking distance to historic center, pedestrian streets nearby with many trattorias to choose from. Excellent room accommodations, quiet, clean and spacious with lovely hotel facilities and common areas, although these public areas are not air conditioned. Marble...

This jewel is a well placed oasis on a small side street near the train station. It is a ten to fifteen minute walk from the main sites and close to the Central Market. All of the staff were extremely helpful and patient. Our room was spacious, clean, cool (in the heat of the summer) and very quiet and the...

I just returned from a stay at the Albani for 2 nights. It was VERY convenient to the train station and easy to find. The rooms were clean and large by hotel standards. We found the SOME of the staff to be very helpful in making restaurant reservations/recommendations, and also in purchasing tickets to the museums. All in all a...

This hotel was the best we stayed at on our trip to Italy. It had such great character! We had a large room and bathroom, with beautiful décor. It is right around the corner and down the block from the train station and about 5 blocks from the Central Market. They served a large breakfast in the basement of the...
