We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Albani and enjoyed almost everything about it. The location was only 1 street from the main train station but still very walkable to all the sites. The hotel is nicely updated everywhere except for some older electrical service in our room. Staff was very nice and helpful and had some personal touches most... More

We were delighted to find that the hotel was close to the central railway station in the parallel street but still quiet and peaceful. Extremely helpful staff, hearty breakfasts and beautiful building close to the heart of the city. Our room on the top floor had a balcony terrace with a wonderful view of the nearby hills. Only minor drawbacks... More

I was traveling with a buddy by train from Milan, so we chose a hotel near the station. Hotel Albani is a nice, clean and attractive hotel. The breakfasts were nice and it's just a quick walk to most of the sights. No complaints, just a pleasant stay. Btw, my next destination was on an early flight and the staff... More

In a country that often has missed the mark on customer service excellence, I'm happy to give Hotel Albani a five star rating. Beautiful decor, wonderful front desk staff, deliscious breakfast, attention to details other hotels don't even consider...like personally delivered weather forecast cards which have been hand written accompanied by a different sweet each day! Furthermore, a warm, happy... More

Stayed for 2 nights arriving by train from Pisa. In a quiet courtyard so no external noise. Booked a superior room on 3rd floor with 2 windows, king bed and sofa. Excellent bathroom with bath and separate shower. Good choice at buffet breakfast with attentive staff to provide coffee. The let down was poor service for the bar-it seems to... More

The Hotel Albani is a 5 min walk from Florence train station. Importantly it is a 10 min walk to the Duomo and other attractions. The hotel has an excellent check in and helpful porters. Our room overlooked the street but this was no problem as there is double glazing plus inside and outside shutters. The bed was a comfortable... More

Great hotel, great location, great noise isolation. Loved everything about it... such a good character to a hotel, very bright, fresh, great breakfast. It is very near train station and a quiet place with many amenities around. Ps station was great.the only thing remote control did not work. Stayed in a single room.

Just around the corner from the train station, excellent location - no more than ten minutes walk from the Duomo and major sights. We were welcomed at reception and given the key to the room even though we arrived early. The room was lovely and there was even a basket of fruit to welcome us, very nice touch. We were... More

We arrived at this hotel just 5 minutes after walking from the Santa Lucia train station. Just turn left at McDonalds and left again and you're there! We were welcomed into the large reception area by friendly staff. We were shown to a large room on the ground floor which was more like a suite with a lobby area separating... More
