We are in Italy for two weeks. All of our hotels have been very nice except this one. We had an upgraded room which was a suite. It had a second level which was a joke. It was small and cramped with a single bed with pillows acting like a couch. The refrigerator was up there which was also very...

There are many hotels near the Santa Maria Novella train station and we just picked the wrong one. It is on a crowded -- not in a good way -- street filled with people just hanging out near fast food. We've stayed in the area before and should have gone back to the area in front of Santa Maria Novella....

Besides the location there is nothing you will like about this old place with rude employees. They put a hold on your credit card for 35 days which must be a record. Breakfast is an insult with low quality choices of 2 bakery items and 3 garbage breakfast meats. You are in florance Italy and certainly it's not a place...

We had high hopes of this little hotel, however, they were soon dashed. It is a three star hotel but this feels a generous rating to us. We booked two rooms for our family of four. The attitude of the Reception staff was mixed, ranging from extremely helpful to positively ill-tempered. There was no welcome pack in the two rooms....

The location is great, close to train station, and a great restaurant- All 'Antico Mercato (highly recommended) the market and main attractions. I feel the hotel could use some upgrading. The bed was very uncomfortable, it looked like 2 cots put together, and the shower was the smallest 1 person 'portable' looking shower stall. The front desk staff was very...

Hard to find a room to accommodate 4 people in Florence. Two double beds. Corner room was clean with a modern bathroom. Staff was helpful to arrange early morning taxi to airport. Parking garage they have a deal with down the street was too full and not open 24 hours a day, so we had to park at the Santa...

We had a very pleasant stay all travel amenities 5 mins walk away. All major sites nearby. Room 307 smallish, but perfectly adequate. Exceptionally clean, linen changed every two days, bathroom always kept sparkling. Breakfast provided a great start to a heavy days sightseeing. Staff efficient, polite and respectful. Would definitely stay again.

They have very few single- bed rooms and they will not provide a double. First room 224 was dismal, and looking directly into next door. I was staying 6 nights and was very disappointed and complained. Had to stay first night in 224 then I was moved to second room 501 which has a great view with massive terrace but right...

Ideally located for main station and centre. Great breakfast. Bedroom small with large bedroom. Room cleaned every day and bed linen changed every other day. Had requested room on a high floor with a balcony prior to visit however reception had no record of request and female receptionist unhelpful and unaccommodating.
