Stayed here for four days. Impeccable staff and real five star care. Paulus, suite manager cannot do enough for making guests happy. And in a city with so many options. That's a gift to be appreciated. The panorama room was absolutely right out of a movie set. One of my most favorite rooms ever. Period. The regular rooms I peeked...

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. When we arrived we were personally shown up to our room by the manager. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and the view was lovely. The location of the hotel was brilliant, everything was on our doorstep. The hotel itself has lots of history behind it which the hotel staff were pleased to explain and...

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Brunelleschi during our honeymoon stay in Florence. From the moment we checked in, the service was absolute perfection! The assistant manager and suite ambassador were beyond attentive and provided us amazing hospitality! We were upgraded to the suite room overlooking the Duomo where the view was breathtaking! Our stay was nothing far from...

If you are going to Florence you need not look any further for a place to stay. Just got back last week and it was the perfect place to stay. The location can not be beat. My room window looked out at the domo. You are steps away from the best shopping. When I say steps.....I mean like 20 yards....

My daughter and I arrived after a drive from Positano. It was one of those 39 degree days so we looked a little disheveled upon arrival. The check in staff, especially an older woman that had white curly hair checked us up and down like we had walked into the wrong place. If anyone has seen the movie Pretty Woman...

50 meters from the Duomo, 3 mins walk to David statue, 5 mins to Uffizzi and 10 to Palazzo Pitti. In Florence it's essential to be in the centre. Hotel Brunelleschi is elegant and comfortable. Superb staff. Great breakfast. Lovely experience. We'll definitely stay there on our next visit.

It was a little hard to find but very nice hotel that is two blocks from everything. When building it they uncovered a sixth century guard tower that was part of the city defense wall, you can stay in a room there! The breakfast was included and good, the restaurant was expensive and we didn't eat there

From the moment we stepped into the hotel everyone was welcoming and friendly. Hotel full of charm not just a bland characterless place. Spotless room with gorgeous complementary shampoo and body washes. We ate in the restaurant on the first night - food was delicious as was the prosecco. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

“Due to this being a small city all buildings are very close together therefore some of the rooms lack views but you don't go on a trip to a place like Florence to stay in the room so it did not detract from our holiday”
