A simphony between old and modern. A touch of Reinassence in the very centre of Florence. We could feel the artistic and creative environment this city express. Hotel Brunelleschi changed our staying, in a better way, obviously. Waking up with a delicious breakfast, sitting by the window with an amazing view of the Duomo and a smile on everyone of...

After staying at your hotel again last week you have once again exceeded my expectations of the Hotel Brunelleschi. Creating the new position of "Suite Ambassador" has allowed Paulus to shine! The attention to detail, the personalized services, and the wonderful accommodations are genuinely over the top. Due to my early departure before the restaurant opened Paulus prepared an in...

This hotel is trying so hard to be the best but slips up on a few irritating points. The room air conditioning is controlled by the front desk and when you make a query about it the response is curt, but at least its sorted. We had a meal as a group (we were part of a tour that used...

What a fantastic hotel! We loved this place - centrally located, excellent staff and lovely accommodations. The breakfasts were sumptuous - so many choices - to fit all dietary needs. Without question, we'd definitely return to the Hotel Brunelleschi when visiting Florence.

An outstanding 10 day Tuscan vacation was capped off with two nights at the fabulous Hotel Brunelleschi. This ended our vacation on such a "high note" that today as I write this, I am genuinely depressed. We were fortunate enough to stay in a Suite. I am not sure of the cost of this upgrade, but whatever it is they...

My stay at Hotel Brunelleschi was absolutely amazing!! Upon entering the beautiful hotel lobby, I was awestruck. My friends and I were pampered and looked after by Paulus and the other staff members from the minute we arrived until we departed. My suite was beyond gorgeous! To greet me there was a fresh arrangement of white flowers, my pillow with...

The location of this hotel is great. The rooms aren't all that great style wise but they were clean (and quiet) and that's the most important to me. The breakfast buffet was actually pretty good considering breakfast isn't a big thing in Italy. We tried the hotel bar twice (it's very small by the way) and wasn't impressed there. At...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
