This was not a 4 star hotel and the pictures were not accurate. The staff was rude. The carpet in the hallway was filthy. The carpet in our room had been removed and the linoleum on the floor was in terrible shape. There were no bedside tables to put our personal items on; we had to move chairs next to our beds to avoid putting things on the floor. My husband’s pillow had blood stains on it! The one plus was free parking, but the distance to the city center was not as described. It was a 58 minute walk according to Google Maps, the bus system was complicated, and the cab ride took 20 minutes and cost 18 euros. When I called to discuss my concerns with a manager after we left I was told the manager was away for 10 days and that there was no one in charge during that time.
Check in was a breeze, property was clean, ac working during their winter season was a plus as well as having a pool at their property, staff very professional, beautiful hotel I would stay again. I recommend this hotel especially if your on a budget.
Avoid this hotel. Very dim lights in the room, no bedside lights, I think they are trying to save on electricity. Very depressing reception and entrance, staff at the reception dressed in a scruffy manner, no uniform. Rooms are not bad but lack light.
Our stay was for 4 days and we found the hotel very welcoming and well located. The reception staff were always available to help us and to order us taxis. The restaurant staff were very accommodating and always remembered us. Even remembering which wine we had chosen on previous evenings. Our room was clean and we had a nice view.
To all concerned thank you for making my stay welcoming & comfortable, I would & will recommend your hotel facility to my work colleagues & others who would wish to to say in Florence, the hotel location was good for commuting into the city, having the taxi service behind was a great advantage to hotel guests.
nice hotel clean rooms - sl old decor but highly functional - excellent breakfast and lunch offerings which i sampled - good pool with good seating - overall really nice hotel - easy to book - i would use again
The hotel is lovely, not the best looking from the outside but once inside it is great, a perfect stay for a family or a couple. The staff were all so kind and accommodating. The pool area is also fantastic!
We were with a tour group so this hotel was booked by them. It is an airy, clean hotel. I can’t speak to the location because we were driven in by bus. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was up to date with a tub shower. There is a nice looking swimming pool we didn’t get to use. The included breakfast was good. We had one dinner at the restaurant which was good but there were only 2 waiters so they were very busy. It was a nice stay overall.
Thank you so much to Luigi and his staff for taking such good care of us on our holiday. Italiana Hotels Florence is a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, an amazing pool area and excellent customer service. As our flight home was late in the evening, we had the option of paying a day rate to keep our room and use the pool for the day which was fantastic. During our stay, we misplaced a sentimental item that was very dear to us. Luigi went over and above to help us and we cannot thank him enough for this. We will definitely be back!
An amazing hotel, with incredibly comfortable big beds. From entry, staff were welcoming and helpful and always on hand. Breakfast was average, limited lunch menu and snacks but dinner menu was phenomenal. Prices were a little expensive for drinks at the bar but expected. Pool is big enough and plenty of beds with no hogging allowed which we appreciated! Location is a little further than shown on the website, from centre it is about 50 minutes wall (4k) but there is a bus stop directly outside and easy to use. Overall a fab stay and made for a special trip - thankyou!!
