This hotel experience was overall good, but with minor flaws. Not bad location in terms of city center and there were parking options at the hotel. My family and I did however get a room not located in the hotel building, but in the nearby building, which looked more like apartments, than hotel rooms. Therefore the WIFI was irregular, and...

This is a small but very cozy hotel. The room we stay in was small but had a balcony, and you could sit and enjoy the street view. We just stay one night but I would definitivly ask to go back if I had the chance. The room and bathroom where clean. Food was nice too.

This place is around a 20minute walk from the centre which isn't too bad. Obviously the closer to the centre you get the higher the price you pay. The facilities were bang on, staff were friendly. Wifi and free breakfast. We got more than we expected. For those who haven't been before, be prepared to pay your city tax.

This hotel was very, average and, about right for the price. A pleasant, walk along the river takes you to the centre if Florence even straight to the ponte vecchie. Breakfast OK but not much choice although the staff, were very helpful. Not a four star though!

On our visit we were placed in the annex, the room was hot and the thermostat didn't control the temperature. The hotel staff had to turn off the radiators during our stay. We had no phone, the safe didn't work and the shower was just two shower curtains between the toilet and the sink!!! The rooms were very noisy!! And...

Dear shileyj, we are surprised about your review. You booked a double room annex (as description of the room). Everywhere is written that the Duomo is about 30 min walking or 10-15 by public bus. Regarding the temperature of the room, once you infomed us about the matter we immediately come to solve the problem. In not usual have this...

In my experience the confort of a hotel depends on the room you are given, as not all rooms are equal. I stayed in the annex I think and I had the misfortune of being given a room with a radiator that had no dial to control it. It was big and very hot and I asked the reception staff...

Dear Lili N, thank you for your detailed review. Regarding the problem with the heating, as my collegue told you, everything is controlled by a computer system. We did have a problem with some parts, especially on your floor, and since we do not receive the spare parts we coludn't be able to help you in the matter. In any...

This is a lovrlu quiet residential area with excellent restaurants and patisseries.....the old building is well appointed. ..the views from upper stories give a unique view of Florence especially the red roofs. The breafast is cracking with something for all tastes. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. .the area allows for a stunning river walk into the city and a...

We planned a quick Family visit in occasion of the Holliday season and we have been traveling by car.parking is expansive in Florence and also very difficult with the local regulation and police ticket threat. The Grifone is located 10 minutes walk from the" campo di Marte " train station. This fact is very convenient in Florence because you can...

This hotel is not like 4stars hotels. Absolutely awful disgusting bathroom? broken shower. Dirty carpet in the room. Not normal prices for this hotel. But good big territory. In big rooms is super hot.

Only stayed for one night and the room was nice, lots of space, big bed. Ok breakfast. It's not very central which I think was better. Was very near buses and trains tho. Not much noise. would stay again if the price was right.
