Our A/C was making a loud, blaring noise which I noticed as soon as we checked in. I requested the hotel staff to change our rooms or fix the A/C, he assured me that this will be done when we return at night. Also, I had requested a queen bed (common sense, we are a couple) Instead, we got two...

Sure this hotel has been around awhile but is an excellent value. Walking distance to all of Florence. We had a balcony room overlooking the Arno river. This view is priceless. You can see all the way to the Ponte Vecchio. Getting to basics the Ritz has good security, good size rooms, good air- cond, good water pressure, a really...

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel recently. Prior to our stay we read some reviews and we were a little worried about what we would find however we were pleasantly surprised. The location was perfect to explore the city; we were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go to. The room was basic but...

The hotel room was very spacious and the position was fabulous. We were lucky to have a view of the river, especially on the night of the fireworks! The owner was very friendly and helpful and all the staff were very nice. I would come back again!

We booked a quad room. It was GREAT! A nice, big room. We overlooked the river!! Beautiful! The desk staff were super helpful. Everything went so smoothly. Thank you for a nice place to stay. Would certainly go back.

We stayed in different rooms the first on lower level was spacious but was musty and in need of repairs, renos, no added value such as view. After moving to upper level, the view made up for the needed updating..noise can be a big problem here for those who are sensitive to it. This hotel has amazing potential and Reno...

Went in looking for a cheaper hotel not far from city center, hotel ritz was the right place for that. The amenities are sparse but the room was comfortable and the location was great, a brief walk from everything with easy access across the Arno. Service was mixed, the gentlemen behind the counter during the day was very helpful and...

Big and clean room, we had view to the river. In the first floor rooms you can still use the wi-if that is restricted usually to the lobby. The staff was very helpful and very nice, and took care very fast to everything we needed. The breakfast was ok. The hotel is located less then 10 minutes walking from the...

This hotel was horrible - The air conditioner in the room leaked all the time and the bathroom in the room was dirty and smelled awful. This hotel needs a major remodeling. The one positive thing the staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was good. I would not stay there again.

We turned up on a Sunday in August without a reservation so we knew we couldn't be too choosy. Hotel was clean enough and staff were friendly. It is an easy 5 minutes into the centre and all the main attractions, or over the bridge to the north side of the river. Breakfast was quite poor. Both the coffee and...
