You can tell this is a family run hotel because the staff really care that you have a great stay and do everything they can to make that happen. It is also clean, comfortable and central. Another highlight is an area where you can have fresh pastries, fruit, coffee, juice and juices all day long. This is so convenient especially...

Best place to be near to everything without using transport. Clean, big room, variety breakfast . I didn't like that we had to climb up two floor stairs to sit and eat our breakfast because it is not in the same area the products for breakfast and the sitting room to eat it. Value for money....

Dear Katerina A, our Hotel is for sure well located, near the train station as well as the sightseeing area, so very convenient for visiting the city without using transport. After breakfast time, our coffee corner remains open 24 hours/day for free, and we assume that climbing a few steps to have breakfast in a terrace with view of the...

A five minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella train station. Fiorita is located at third floor, and no worry there is an antique elevator. The staff convert us from intermediate room to ensuite room, room is spacious walk around with balcony. Good breakfast, friend staff except one which showed very defensive. Their WiFi is not working some of the time....

Dear Huey, First of all we wish to express our gratitude for such a lovely comment ! Location, rooms, quality of breakfast, all seems to have reached the goal : your satisfaction !. The only " spot " was a " rude " clerk ! Feel sorry for this misunderstanding; my collegue did not want to be rude or at...

I arrived after 3 weeks traveling solo and sick. I walked around the corner from the train station (its really so close) and walked up to the building to see that the hotel is not the entire building, that threw me. Now I realize that is not so uncommon in Europe and is not a reflection of the quality of...

Dear Guest, thank you for your very nice and detailed review, focusing on how we take care about Clients, the so named "human touch".... We are glad your experience at the "Fiorita" was a pleasant one, and are looking forward to welcoming you in Florence again ! Kind regards. Roberto & Massimo

It's like a 4 to 5 minute walk from the Central Train station and a couple of minutes away from all main attractions. Don't get confused, the building you walk up to is not the hotel, The hotel is one of the floors inside the building (check the lobby for exact floor number). Room had all the essentials, bed (two...

This friendly hotel, a five minute walk from Sta Maria Novella train station, was a great place for a quick stop in Florence. As others have noted, you do have to haul your bags up 8 steps to get into the building - but then a vintage elevator gets you to the right floor. Note that the train station is...

Dear Guest, As you said good location, clean rooms, confortable beds; the building is old such as our elevator; but this is probably the reason of your visit in Florence. If you want to stay in an historical building this is the right place to stay. Many thanks for staying with us Massimo & Roberto

We stayed here in Florence ,initially, because we wanted to be close to the train station. It is on the third floor, but has a lift. It is clean, has large comfortable rooms and offers a breakfast spread. Massimo was helpful in calling for reservations and helping us with out plans while we were there. I almost lit the hotel...
