Excellent hotel with every convenience. Delicious varied breakfast ON THE ROOF overlooking Florence: fab. Wonderful service. We asked to change our room to a quieter one, and they were extremely accommodating. A lovely walk along the Arno into the City Centre.
This hotel and the staff are fantastic. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food is excellent, and the service is just perfect and staff so friendly. The hotel is in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of restaurants and all the main sites of interest.
We have just returned from the Kraft Hotel in Florence and just had to add a positive comment. We stayed for 5 nights to see Florence. The staff were excellent and so helpful, the room we had was clean, and recently decorated. The breakfast on the rooftop (inside or out) was excellent with a large choice. The hotel is about a 15-minute easy walk to the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio bridge. There are plenty of local restaurants within a 5-minute walk. The Hop-on-Hop Off bus has a stop 2 minutes away. We have nothing but praise for this hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
We stayed here for 6 nights. Nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms. The breakfast offers a great variety of food. The rooftop pool is a bonus - and warm, even at the end of October!
The Kraft hotel has a luxurious feel to it and the staff is really kind and equiped. The hotel and room were easy accesible for my manual (small) wheelchair. USP: definitly the panoramaview on the 5th floor.
If you're heading to Florence for a city break vacation, you could do a lot worse than stay at Hotel Kraft. The staff are all very courteous and helpful, the rooms are well appointed and very clean and the roof terrace is amazing. The hotel is around a ten minute walk from the centre in a quiet residential area close to the river. Highly reccomended.
Stayed just 4 days, unfortunately being on ground floor we couldn't have curtains open otherwise passers by could look in. Other than that easy access to main attractions by walking along river to ponte vechio. Loved Florence. Hotel very good standard, helpful friendly staff, great atmosphere. Would come back and recommend. Am disabled so suited me well.
Stayed for 5 nights in a deluxe room with balcony. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. It was very warm when we were there and we had no issues with the A/C- we were perfectly comfortable. The electric shade on the balcony really helped with late afternoon sun. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and accommodating. Location, just outside the center, was ideal. It's very quiet but certainly walkable to busier areas of the city. In the evenings the lounge view is fantastic. Pool, which is small was nice but always crowded so chairs were at a premium but we didn't care because it was so warm when were there the pool water felt great chair or no chair! If I had 1 complaint it would be the elevators which 1 was out of service when we were there it's very small (typical for Europe) and slow but the stairs are easy to use. The only hassle that erupts is when you have luggage. Overall, a great hotel- would definitely recommend.…
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Kraft. We stayed 4 nights. We booked the family room which was on the main floor and was not exactly a family room - it was 2 separate rooms across the hall from each other, which actually worked out better for our family as we were travelling with our 2 young adult children. The area where our rooms were was quite private. The hotel itself was quite lovely, clean and well kept. The rooms were very nice. We loved the rooftop pool area and it was a real bonus having a pool in the hot Italian weather. We had breakfast every morning and it was such a lovely way to start the day, with such a beautiful view of the city as breakfast is served on the rooftop. The breakfast itself was lovely and we enjoyed the prosecco with our breakfast each morning. The location of the hotel was also very good - outside of the busy city area but not a far walk to get to the sights and the shops - a 15 minute walk. A 5 minute walk to the tram station and a 15 minute walk to the train station. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.…
Just come back from a lovely break in Florence staying at Hotel Kraft. This hotel had everything we needed. The gorgeous breakfast balcony is just the perfect way to start the day and you get an amazing view of Florence. The choice at breakfast was great and the food was good quality. The pool is a real bonus too for when you’ve finished sightseeing and just want to relax a little. Drinks are also served at the pool. Staff everywhere in the hotel were friendly. Check in was easy and friendly. The hotel is clean and our room was serviced every day. Location is great, a little out of the bustling centre but easy walking distance to all the sights and the train station. I’d love to return to Florence and this would be my first choice hotel.
