I would rate this hotel 5 star if only it had buffet lunch and dinner. The room was perfect, but I had a problem with the bed.... It was too soft, that I could not get comfortable. It had a fridge, coffee and tea making...More
The hotel is 25 meters away from the train station, and 2 minutes' walking distance from the city centre. Check-in was quick and efficient. The rooms are large and clean, but the doors and windows are thin and could be of better quality: one can...More

We stayed two nights in C-hotels Ambasciatori, Florence. Our room was very very clean and nice. However breakfast had very limited choices.
Location of the hotel is very good and close to many interesting attractions. Staff were ok.

Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.

The hotel like any other in Europe has small rooms and small bathrooms. What your paying for here is the location. I travel to Rome yearly and of all the areas, Spanish steps is the place to be. Shopping and restaurants are all there plus metro is so near. If your looking for a five star hotel this is not it. But the people are friendly and the re is so much to do outside the hotel.
