My family and I absolutely loved the Plaza Hotel Lucchesi!! The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Our room had a very nice view; was clean and the food was great. This hotel was close to shops, and we enjoyed the wonderful view of the roof top bar and restaurant. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

There is a lot of enjoy about the hotel. The rooms are lovely and roomy enough. The hotel sits right on the river with nice views. It was easy to walk to all the main sights in Florence from the hotel. The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant were perfect for the late afternoons after we were finished walking around Florence. A couple of times we hung out in the hotel bar, relaxing before dinner. Breakfast was included in our stay and there were plenty of options to satisfy anyone. All he staff were helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel, great rooftop views, very helpful staff. Very clean. Overall fine. poor to non working Wi-Fi so be ready to pay 5 euro per day for Wi-Fi or your cell carriers international data plan. No smart tv so be ready to bring your own devices for the kids to stream their content. Very out dated on this aspect.

I had the most friendly experience in Florence. The people at the restaurants, other hotels, everywhere; except this hotel. I never leave reviews, but I was relatively shocked by how rude the employees were here that I felt I had to to leave a review. Management, there was a woman with glasses at the front desk that was dismissive and rude immediately. The bartenders on the rooftop openly mocked our group. It was nothing like I had ever experienced. For a top rated hotel, I would not expect to be treated this hostile. Will never come back and would not recommend.

From the moment we walked into the gorgeous foyer, we knew we were somewhere special! The front desk staff was warm and welcoming and ready to attend to our every need (and want!) We were having difficulty with our cellular connection back in the States and they informed us that the hotel provided private cellular phones for personal use to its guests. It was heaven sent!! Since this was our honeymoon trip we were offered a complimentary drink at the bar to begin our celebration in Florence! The amenities in our room were glorious! Parking in Florence is challenging but the staff helped us navigate the City (and the City with a rental car!!) Our concierge was first class… so friendly, professional and knowledgeable, he was Florence at our fingertips! But I think his greatest asset was how he gave us a genuine smile and a warm greeting EVERY TIME we passed his desk in front of the elevators! Breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy, and they even remembered us and greeted us by name each morning we arrived! We LOVED Lucchesi; this hotel is a must-not-miss on your list!…

There are not enough words to praise this hotel. Our room was lovely, with a balcony overlooking the city center of Venice. The staff were professional, courteous, efficient, and wiling to assist non-Italian speaking guests. The property is located so that you can walk to any/all sites you might want to visit in Venice. There is a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant with amazing views of Venice. This is a gem of a hotel, not to be missed while in Venice.

This hotel is perfectly located on the bank of the Arno river. The rooms are large and well maintained. One of the things that I loved most about our stay was the customer service. I can’t begin to tell you how helpful and pleasant they were, especially to my 86 year old mother. Everybody, from the front desk and the the concierge to the wait staff in the breakfast room and the porters were just so accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Speaking of the breakfast room, the breakfast buffet was superb! Absolutely try the pistachio filled croissants! They had everything one could want! If they didn’t, they would find what you wanted and bring it to you. Loved our experience at this fantastic hotel.

Great hotel with a convenient location near the Duomo. Lovely large room with superb service. Wonderful breakfast too - the best we had in Italy. Fresh juices, eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit. Room serviced twice daily including new towels daily. There was a wonderful rooftop patio which was great to relax with a drink after touring. We were with a tour so the hotel aimed to please.

Room was small and the bathroom was so tiny there was hardly any space to put your things. Also the shower got water all over the floor. However, the view was spectacular from our room. It’s not too far from the main section of town, but in hot weather it can be hard. And speaking of hot weather, the room was warm at night. Better air conditioning would have been nice. The breakfast was very good the next morning.

The good: location, beautiful (yet a little worn) lobby, etc, staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast food is good and we had a beautiful view of the nearby church and could see the Duomo. The not so good: The shower is a complete disaster. We were traveling with a group of 20 and everyone had the same complaint - when you took a shower, regardless of how you adjusted the swinging glass door, you ended up with water all of the floor and I mean ALL over! I don't know how the cleaning staff deal with it every day - hence, we left a nice tip. If you happen to be there when there are large groups staying, the breakfast room can get very crowded and the limited staff has a hard time keeping up with food replenishment.
