Originally a 15th century “Palazzo”, the Hotel Bernini is built according to the Classic Florentine architectural style, with string-course cornices along the walls and wooden shutters giving it a charming antique flavor. The Bernini Palace is located in Florence’s historic center, right behind Piazza della Signoria - just a stone’s throw from the Uffizi and Florence’s main historical attractions. The rooms are 74, Classic, Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite, all are fitted out with the best, most up-to-date mod-cons and still preserve the charm of the past. The Tuscan Floor is reminiscent of old world Tuscan colours and themes, very warm and inviting. Beautiful hotel, brilliant staff, very clean and well looked after hotel. Ideal position in the city to see everything you need. Some street noise early morning but maybe that’s expected being in a city.

Classy hotel with great service. Location was close to everything. Staff went the extra mile to please. Nice breakfast included with your stay. Nice patio outside our room on 5th floor. We also enjoyed the cafe directly across the street.

A lovely hotel with special touches in the room like linen sheets, automatic nightlight in the bathroom, water delivered each day. The bottle of prosecco delivered to the room on arrival was a nice surprise. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety - fresh juice, yogurt, fruit, meat ,cheese, pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast, the best coffee ever and much more. The location is amazing. It's a short walk to the Uffizi gallery, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria (wonderful Neptune fountain and sculptures with great restaurants). We have been tp Florence three times and this is the nest hotel ever.

Stayed for 5 nights and we were delighted with this hotel. Bedroom was small but comfortable on the 5th floor and was very quiet. Air con was excellent and very welcome! The staff are unfailingly polite and welcoming and the whole place ran very efficiently. The location is perfect for exploring Florence and it is great to be able to return in the middle of the day for a rest. There is a huge number of great restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast at the hotel is very good and provides a good start to the day. We would definitely use this hotel again.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. The location is excellent, close to all the major sites and good restarants. The front desk is great and very accomodating. The hotel is very nice with beautiful decor and is a good price for the quality of the rooms and amenities. Everyone loved staying here and we will all come back to Bernini Palace on our next visit to Florence! A big thank you to the Bernini Palace for making our stay memorable!

I normally do not post reviews, just too busy, but I really felt compelled to post a short review about this great hotel in Old Town Florence. This was a post-cruise trip after 11 fabulous nights on the Silversea Nova ship and we were not expecting much-WRONG!! The rooms were great for not being a suite. We had two dinners, one lunch and one breakfast and the food was fabulous at the lunches and dinners. Breakfast was fine but not like the dinners and lunch. It was right up with the food on the Silversea ship. I can't say enough about the great service and a special shout out to Franco, in charge of the restaurant at dinner, as he and his staff were the best. When we return to Florence, we will certainly go back to this hotel. As the motto goes "Try it, you will like it!"
