I travelled with a friend and had a beautiful, well equipped twin room as requested. The decor was stunning and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was large with two sinks, bath/shower, toilet and bidet. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were made of a fine linen which was fantastic. There were extra pillows and blankets too. At night,...

Could not rate this hotel highly enough , admittedly it is a five star hotel but the service was excellent , friendly and genuinely so . Centrally located 5 minutes to the Uffizi Gallery , similar walk to Il Duomo and less than 10 to Ponte Vecchio.

I booked this place as an anniversary present for my partner. I advised the hotel in advance that it was our anniversary and the staff emailed to say they would be happy to assist me in anyway they could. Every single member of staff was professional and courteous. I couldn't fault them. They delivered champagne and strawberries to our room...

We chose this hotel for the second time, and again it more than fulfilled expectations. Friendly staff who treat you like a human, excellent decor and room, everything worked, and the location is very central, being around the corner from the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio. Comfortable, quiet, friendly and efficient: what more do you need? Highly recommended.

The Bernini Palace Hotel was amazing. We stayed 6 nights. Just the right size - a small, boutique hotel that is in a perfect location for walking everywhere! We found the staff gracious and accommodating. Our room had a view of the Duomo and we could hear the bells ring each hour, which was so special! The bed was comfortable....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Originally a 15th century “Palazzo”, the Hotel Bernini is built according to the Classic Florentine architectural style, with string-course cornices along the walls and wooden shutters giving it a charming antique flavor. The Bernini Palace is located in Florence’s historic center, right behind Piazza della Signoria - just a stone’s throw from the Uffizi and Florence’s main historical attractions. The rooms are 74, Classic, Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite, all are fitted out with the best, most up-to-date mod-cons and still preserve the charm of the past. The Tuscan Floor is reminiscent of old world Tuscan colours and themes, very warm and inviting. The new restaurant La Chiostrina is located in a historical courtyard of the hotel, it is the ideal place for delicious gastronimic specialities in Florence, its versatility makes it an excellent restaurant offering an innovative menu. A full breakfast is served in the magnificent Sala Parlamento (complete with a splendid frescoed ceiling) formerly a meeting place for members of Parliament and Senators of the Kingdom of Italy ... more   less
