Rooms are basic. Our bathroom was extremely narrow and my bed mattress so soft that I folded up unused blankets and inserted between mattress and spring box to keep from falling out of bed at night. On the strong side, the location is great for pedestrian access to train station, dining, Accademia and architectural landmarks. The bar is tended by...

We just spend the weekend in Florence and stayed at this hotel. We had a room for three, it was spacious and the restroom was amazing. The breakfast is very generous and you can ask for capuchinno. The staff is very friendly. The location is walking distance from main attractions and at night the mercato centrale is one block away....

This hotel is well placed, very close to the Santa Maria Novella train station, the Mercato Centrale and easy walking distance to the Accademia, Duomo and Uffizzi. Breakfast was cold buffet with a good choice and was constantly replenished. Cappuccino or espresso were available if wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful and special mention must be made of the...

Stayed here in October and we loved it. It's in a great position for checking out the sights of Florence. The staff were friendly and the room spacious and clean. Would stay again. Price wise it was very good value.

Recently stayed at this hotel for three nights during a visit to Florence. Hotel was well located with lots of restaurants nearby which was good as the hotel only did bed and breakfast. It is in an excellent location in the centre of the city, well placed for all of the main sights, as well as being close to the conference centre and railway station. We didn't get transfer from station as it was close enough to walk and was right near the centre. Mini bar available, flat screen TV's and nice...

My wife and I rolled in from the train station that was only a few blocks away. Room was clean. Breakfast was great and they bring cappuccino if you ask. I have read other reviews and they talk about the bar tender being cool. He kind of reminds me of Carson from Downton Abbey (sp?) I ran out for an...

We stayed at the corona when visiting Florence. Firstly, the position is just perfect. About 150 yards from the train station and about 200 yards from the cathedral (il duomo). The staff were very friendly and courteous The rooms were very modern, well equipped and clean. The lifts are a little antiquated, but they worked just fine. Buffet breakfast was...
