We arrived in Florence for a four-night stay on Easter Sunday. This hotel suited our needs in every way. We had a very large room overlooking the courtyard with a large bathroom as well. Antonella and her staff were truly warm and welcoming, and the...More
We visited the hotel for 6 days at the end of March. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and loved everything about the hotel. Our room overlooked the courtyard and you could hear the bells from the Duomo often. The room was very...More
I'll Guelfo Bianco is ideally located 180m from Michelangelo's "David" & 500m from Piazza del Duomo. Room was lovely with ornate timber high ceiling, my room over looked a pretty neighboring courtyard. Bed was comfortable, shower was excellent. Breakfast unbelievably yummy with all the produce...More
We requested a room for 3 (2 adults and 1 child) and although it was cozy, there was plenty of room for us. The staff was exceptionally helpful, the breakfast quite good, with organic food. The location was very convenient, and the cafe next door...More
We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel for 4 nights. Very helpful staff, nicely decorated rooms and excellent breakfast. Location is very convenient to all key attractions in Florence. Will definitely stay here again!
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.

During my many stays at the hotel I've seen someone at the front desk at all times, day & night, and they are right next to/have a clear line of sight to the entrance. Taxi fares from the airport to Florence are fixed rate, thinking it was around 22 euros plus 1 Euro for each bag. Might be a little extra for late night/holiday trips. Be sure to let the hotel know about your expected late arrival.

Sorry I missed this question. There is one but for our room there were still about 7 stairs up to our door so if stairs are a concern be sure to email the hotel to ask for a room that is accessible only by elevator. :)
