Stayed 4 nights in a junior suite. It was a very good sized room although I think typical for Florence, a little old looking room (unless you stay in a chain hotel or willing to pay a few hundred euros a nite). Friendly staff and good breakfast (included in rates). 5 minutes walking distance to duomo and acccademia. Amd 10...

Stayed here in October 2011 with family including teenage son. Got good deal on hotel website. Reviews and photos accurate. Street not pretty, just ordinary, but again photos accurate. Little bistrot attached to hotel fine especially if you can't walk another step! Hotel location is perfect, just up from square with Duomo and San Marco 2 minutes walk the opposite...

This is a very nice and unique hotel. The room was decorated with antiques and stained glass windows. The tile bathroom floor was heated which was great in January! Breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful. The price was very inexpensive considering everything you got. It was also very close to many sights.

The hotel is very centrally situated and is the perfect combination of old world charm with modern amenities - we had a spacious charismatic room, modern tiled bathroom and beamed ceilings and when we opened the shutters....a lovely view of the top of the Duomo over the rooves! Their extensive continental breakfast, served with your choice of hot drinks, was...

On a bit of a budget we found the hotel on tripadvisor. After a long train ride the walk to the hotel was not too long - about 15 minutes, but our hearts sank at the unlovely streets. However the welcome was warm and hotel breakfasts (not an italian strongpoint!) were excellent and as we walked back into the town...

Several years ago, we stayed at the #1 ranked Hotel Davanzati. We thought the room, the staff, the servce and the location was the...

We were a large party and only one family not perfectly happy with their room (only ones on the first floor). Rooms lovely and very individual, quiet, hotel perfectly located, service warm and friendly, breakfast very nice. Bathrooms were very nice, and beds comfortable. All the rooms were just lovely and for Europe, spacious for a couple, some triples a...

This hotel is wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great: just a few minutes from the Accademia, and not far from The Duomo and Uffizi. The rooms we had -- a triple and a quad -- were gorgeous. Ours had a fabulous fresco painted across the enormous ceiling, beautiful furnishings, and a spacious, lovely bathroom....

All rooms are different in size and position - executive rooms have a standard size - superior rooms are larger - de luxe and junior suite are very large with a sitting area.
