We stayed for one week with Michel and Cinzia at 1865 Residenza to explore Florence. The experience of staying at 1865 Residenza is the ideal combination of sophistication with ease. The residence is elegant yet comfortable - thoughtfulness and care of the owners can be felt everywhere. Immaculately clean, airy room with modern bathroom in a historical residence. We would...

If you get a reservation here, you will be generously rewarded. We could not have been more pleased. The rooms, the food, the bathroom (extra wow), but more importantly Cinzia and Michele are just lovely. They really make you feel like part of the family. Their recommendations for dinner each night were perfection. Staying away from the busier section of...

We stayed at 1865 for one week in late April 2017. We chose it because of a combination of its location, price and positive reviews. That being said, 1865 exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal, in a quiet residential neighborhood but within walking distance of all of tourist Firenze, surrounded by winding streets, family restaurants, historical sites and local...

Im writing this review a bit late sorry but my husband and myself stayed here last year. It is the most beautiful of hotels only having a small number of rooms but all decorated differently. We had the most beautiful ceiling fresco I have ever seen. The breakfast served was stunning.. definitely recommend the eggs! The hotel is situated in...

When I was planning my trip to Florence, I really wanted it to be a trip where we got to know the people who live there and the places they go to. I didn't want to be a typical tourist. When I found 1865 Residenza d'epoca, I was thrilled. The website pictured a beautiful and well maintained place to stay...

What a find in Florence! This unique historic building has a great location, amazing ambiance, and great amenities. Cinzia had made this an unforgettable gem! Breakfast each morning was delicious. We enjoyed using the common room in the evenings to relax and plan our next day’s ventures. We slept extremely well each night—the location is so quiet and serene! We...

We felt really lucky we were able to reserve a room here. The location was not in a touristy area but a short walk to everything we wanted to see. Our host was lovely and accommodating. The room was very nice and clean.

The most elegant Bed and Breakfast style accommodation that we have experienced. Gorgeous huge rooms, wonderful hosts, great position and more. If you are looking for classy relaxed accommodation with the best advice that you can get about Florence and surrounds this is the place for you. We will be sad to leave in the morning.

Our trip was wonderful thanks to Cinzia and the hotel. We stayed in the Henry James room which was enormous and has a claw foot tub, walk in closet, walk in shower, and garden view. Cinzia was so gracious and helped us to identify all the must-sees and must-eats in Florence. The breakfast had so much variety and was served...
