We highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. The highlight was visiting with the owners and other guests at breakfast. Everything was very well kept, nicely decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The dining/living room was open with snacks all day and allowed us to visit, in comfort, with other family members. The location is convenient. And there were...

A short walk from all the interesting places to visit. Wonderful comfortable rooms and a great breakfast each morning. Also offer excellent advice on where to visit and help on booking tickets. Recommended.

We spent a few days in Florence on behalf of our wedding anniversary and discovered this lovely guesthouse in the second floor of an ancient palazzo (built 1865!). It is located near the Synagogue and only a 15 minutes walk to many important sights such as Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio and Duomo and a 5 minutes walk to different restaurants...

1865 Residenza D'Epoca was a surprising delight. Photos don't do it justice. Period furnishings were beautiful and far from stuffy. Breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs were the best I've had. Plenty of fresh fruit juice, coffee and flaky pastries & croissants. The rooms were so very comfortable after a long day of sight seeing. We were torn between leaving the...

We are so happy we chose 1865! Michel reached out to us via email before we left and he was able to help us with travel questions. On arrival Cinzia greeted us and went over a map of the city with us and gave us several restaurant suggestions. We took advantage (she even made our reservations) and we were not...

The place was lovely and owners were as well. They were quite helpful and breakfast was beautiful every morning. My only complaint was the tour guide/group he suggested was terrible. They were so kind as to even help us with an item we left by mistake - and delivered it to a merchant who was to be shipping other items...

Staying here was such a treat. Michel and Cinzia are wonderful hosts. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated to the time period, but with completely modern facilities. Nice location out of the frenzy of tourist so you can feel a little " local", but close to all the attractions. Highly recommend!

We spent four nights here at the end of a reasonably lengthy break elsewhere. I wish we could have spent much longer here and we intend to return as soon as possible. The much praised Michel gave us recommendations for, frankly, the best food of the holiday. But then he left us in the hands of his wife Cinzia who...

Had a great stay at this place. It is truly a gem! If you like a boutique kind of place with few rooms and great service this is your place. From the beginning Michel was super welcoming and helpful. The location is really good, and you can find all modern facilities in the room, something not that common when traveling...

My husband and I traveled through Europe on our honeymoon and this was our FAVORITE accommodation out of everywhere we stayed. The rooms are modern, beautiful and very clean. We traveled in early September and having air condition in our room was perfect. I felt as though I was staying in a 5 star hotel. Michel and Cinzia who own...
