An excellent hotel. We stayed for five nights in February. Rooms are decent sized with large walk in shower. Mini bar Safe Drinks making facilities Good breakfast. Close to city centre to walk in. Excellent friendly staff. We would stay again
My husband and I stayed in a few very nice hotels during our recent tour of Italy, but this place was our favorite. Be sure to read your packet from the hotel when you arrive in your room; you'll discover you are staying in the footprint of Bertoldo's former school for young artists - attended by a teenage Michelangelo. Every aspect of our stay was delightful. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful, as were the very sweet and swift breakfast attendants and the bartender, who offered us a complimentary welcome drink on the raised porch overlooking the lovely courtyard. Our room was comfortable and quiet, despite its location on a main thoroughfare of the city that led to many famous attractions and wonderful eateries. We thought the place was just beautiful, and made many indelible memories there.…
Excellent location (walking distance to all the sights, shops, and best restaurants, yet not in the heart of the busyness). Staff was incredibly helpful and the free breakfast was delicious. The room was nice and big and always cleaned to perfection while we were out and about.
We stayed in four different hotels in Italy and this was by far the best. Clean, extremely friendly, accessible, and great accommodations. This hotel ended up being gold standard from our trip, which we compared all others to. I would implore everyone to book a stay here.
Couldn’t recommend a better hotel to stay at. As a couple we love Florence and this hotel made the holiday that little bit better, the rooms are so clean and exactly what we wanted for our mini break. Breakfast is lovely and plenty to choose from, anything we needed they were happy to accommodate…… we will definitely be back.
We were looking for a centrally located hotel and found this one when booking a short four night break in Florence on lastminute.com. Whilst booking a hotel that you don’t know can be something of a lottery, it seems that we really chose well on this occasion. The welcome and attention from the reception staff, in particular from the lovely Alazne, was perfect. Our ground floor room with garden view could not be faulted. Breakfast was more than adequate with attentive staff to make sure that we didn’t miss out on all that was on offer. Alazne helped us with choices of places to visit and booking restaurants and taxis for us. All in all, a great find.
Staff were fabulous , front desk, breakfast and cleaning. Location gave easy access to all major attractions. Laundromat , bars and restaurants including Irish pub were all a short walk. I highly recommend this hotel.
The staff at the hotel was excellent. They happily took care of our every need. The hotel was in a great location and the room was bigger than most European hotels. And the breakfast was plentiful and very good. I definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Florence.
This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Florence Italy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast came with our room and was the best we have ever had - lots of variety, very delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.
Clean rooms, quiet rooms, not much traffic in street. All three ladies at front desk who we dealt with were extremly friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast, especially when compared with italian standard.
