Stayed the one night. Quite reasonable price and good location. The room was clean and pretty. Breakfast was very tiny, coffee, croissant, yogurt and some piece of meet and cheese, we had to ask a staff to pass each piece because only staff can served it.
My husband and I stayed in the Fresco Suite during our honeymoon. The room was beautiful and so unique. The bed was comfortable, and there is plenty of space in the room, with a couch and a couple of chairs. The bathroom is large by Italian standards, but the shower is a typical tiny Italian shower. There is a small private outdoor area that was nice to relax in. The staff was wonderful. I'd definitely stay here again.
Pay too much for little service. The Hotel, was way less then what we paid for. Did not have breakfast room, so we were obliged to have it in the room. The instalations are very old and heating does not work properly. The parking cost is 45 euros a day. In the shower there was a lot of hair from precedent guest. The location is not at best spot. It seems a lack of management amd receptionist was very arrogant.
The location was very good with most of the sites in Florence within walking distance. We did not have a car, so I don't know about parking. The rooms were huge and very comfortable, although I only saw two of them. The staff was very helpful with suggestions, and the breakfast was very good.
We felt like royalty in our large lovely suite in the palace. This is a gorgeous property that has retained the feel and architecture of a Renaissance palace -- but with modern amenities. Great breakfast buffet -- and the rooftop terrace commands sweeping views of the city. The staff was friendly, helpful, accommodating and professional. Just lovely.
We ended up here due to strikes and spent 1 night in the Carlotta suite. The receptionist was very friendly and took us up to our room , showing us the 24/7 coffee/tea making facilities on the way. The building had a wonderful feel and was lovely that it had not been spoilt or to modernised. Our suite was large on the second floor. There was a lovely roof terrace that was only accessible up 60 steps. We spent a lovely half an hour up there in the evening chatting to the bar tender- who pointed out the buildings we could see and chatted about life. We were the only ones up there and not sure if the stairs are off putting for some. The only reason I cant give a 5 is the sofa in our living space was very hard with a huge piece of wood to keep us sagging into the sofa and the bed wasn’t overly comfortable, and comfort is very important when travelling from home. We didn’t opt for the breakfast in our room as wanted to head to the airport in case of any issues with re booked flights. I wouldn’t exactly call the Palace a hotel- more serviced apartments as we felt very much on our own. Having said that I would definitely recommend as it gave a very different feel from the usual hotel atmosphere.…
What a great hotel! It was recommended to us by a friend who had lived in Florence for a time and we really enjoyed our stay. The suite was so large and comfortable. After a day of sightseeing, it was like coming home. Loved the coffee and tea available all day in the lobby area. Breakfast was a treat in the lovely dining room. The hotel is VERY quiet. If we hadn't seen other people in the dining room for breakfast, we would have thought we were the only people staying there. Well located--this side of the river is convenient to the various attractions and also to many restaurants. We look forward to a return visit.
Wonderful place to stay and see everything in Florence. Definitely the Palazzo is the place to stay. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They pay attention to details. Excellent breakfast experience.
This hotel is aboslutely gorgeous. It is filled with ancient treasures from its original owners. The staff is wonderful, especially Dishan, who took care of our every need. Our suite was amazing, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a gorgeous living room. The hotel is centrally located just a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio. The outdoor courtyard is enchanting, full of antique pillars and urns and lovely greenery. Breakfast was very good as well. I would return to this hotel again and again. It was a marvelous stay and I can't wait to get back.
This was an excellent hotel, great location, great service and the room was beautiful and made you feel at home. The room had frescos painted on the walls. Coffee and water always available. I would DEFINITELY recommend.
