I travelled to Florence in July, 2010 and as per usual, finding a hotel in Europe was a challenge. But after poring over the sites, I chose this one and I was not at all disappointed. It was supremely clean, comfortable and the service was so warm and excellent. I forget the names now but the wonderful receptionist and then...

Stayed here for two pleasant nights. Five minute walk from train station. A block away from central market. Decent price and size. Room quiet. Nice staff. Good breakfast. For the active budget traveler, better than Rick Steves recommendations.

The room is ok, big, but could have blinds - it was a litlle light in the morning! The breakfast is good - lots of things to eat! It was the cheapest...

The good: In a great location, a few minutes away from the city centre and the rail station. Clean rooms and a good breakfast. The bad: My room was next to the street and even though I was on the second floor, you could still hear the noise from outside. The air conditioning unit was also a little noisy so...

We recently stayed at Nuova Italia after reading numerous reviews on TripAdvisor. After 4 nights there we have mixed feelings about the hotel. This was our 5th hotel in two weeks as we tour Italy so we had several to compare with. First, the good. The hotel is in the perfect location for Florence. We were within 5-10 minutes to...

The Hotel Nuova Italia is located in a very good location - two blocks from the train station and three blocks from the Duomo on a pedestrian street. The location is great for tourists, and the staff is all very nice, and very friendly and helpful. The room I was in (a single, or a junior double) was pretty cramped,...
