The cons: its far enough for a 12 euro cab ride, and the hotel doesn't supply very good directions on how to walk. You can walk from the Train station depending on how much luggage you have. One bus which again isnt mentioned either will also take you very close. Best to email or call if you don't take the...

We recently stayed for three nights at the Villa Liana in Florence. It is a nice hotel with large rooms and bathrooms. The feeling was a little dated, although our bathroom was fairly new. Although not right in the center, it is an easy walk to the major sites - 10 to 15 minutes. The area, near the main Synagogue,...

A charming, clean and quiet hotel what more could you want? May be more efficient air conditioning when the temperatures outside are in the thirties.

We loved this hotel so much, we booked for another night. The room we stayed in was gorgeous, with a private terrace overlooking the italian garden. The staff made us feel very welcome indeed. We highly recommend it.

This little gem is perfectly positioned to walk to everything. It has private parking, a gorgeous garden, a beautiful park with playground 50 metres away, and a supermarket 100 metres away. The Sightseeing double decker bus stops right around the corner, and the staff are just so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, with french doors opening out to...

We have just spend 5 nights at Liana. It was our 25th wedding anniversary, when we arrived we had flowers and complimentary wine in our room, what a wonderful welcome. This is a beautiful typically Italian hotel, just 10 mins from the centre the staff were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel...

Very friendly hotel, a casual 15 minute walk to the Duomo. Staff always greeted us with a warm welcome with someone on duty 24/7. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice and was very good. The hotel interior is very atmospheric and full of antique furniture etc. Certainly a hotel that is better than the 3 star rating it's...

We stayed in the Liana for an anniversary 4 day getaway. We were greeted by friendly English speaking staff upon arrival - which helped enormously as our Italian is very limited. The hotel is full of character. All the corridors were tiled and very attractive and the stairway was impressive too. Our room was large, well equipped and clean, with...

This Hotel was wonderful. The rooms are lovely and the staff is great. The staff spoke English and were extremely helpful to my Mom and I during our stay. The hotel has a lovely garden area in the back that my Mom adored. We ate our breakfast each morning in their lovely dining room. My Mom was so impressed she...
