This hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen in my life. It is pure elegance and luxury. Located very close to centre made our lives easier with 6 year old child. Hotel is very very clean and staff is so friendly and helpful. You won’t regret staying in this hotel

Hotel's Favourite
Our stay at the Dimora Palanca was excellent in all respects. The rooms are modern and beautifully laid out. The room for our girls even had a jacuzzi in the room and an attached terrace. The hotel felt more like coming to your private residence than a hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient and always on hand to assist. Nadia was instrumental in making sure we had a excellent stay in Florence. She was not only very enthusiastic in planning our trip but was also was super friendly and jovial. If there was one area for improvement it was the breakfast. However our server Luigi made up for that with his prompt and efficient service. We would definitely like to visit Florence and Dimora again.

My biggest problem with some hotels in Italy that they are « tired » , not this one, its all fresh, new, well built place. Not in busy center which is probably the advantage at least for me, but 15 mins walk from main tourist attractions. Small, secluded place.

This is a hidden gem hotel in Florence. I have booked dimora planaca based on Google search and was never disappointed. The place takes you through a true art experience. I have arrived early to be welcomed by professional and friendly from desk team with an early check in which was highly appreciated after a late night flight. Going forward the room, reception and the hotel facilities are at an exceptional standards cozy and elegant at the same time. The restaurant was an admirable experience loved how accommodating the team from the service and chef were to my requests. You can’t miss trying the food there a whole different experience in Florence my compliment to the team working there. Not to miss the staff working at cafe and breakfast spot very friendly and thoughtful. Overall, Dimora Palanca is a place about people, art and hospitality, I recommend not to miss it.

We’d been absent from Florence for more than ten years. And we had been told by friends that the city has definitely changed for the better over the last few years. That’s why for a few days in Florence after more than ten years we wanted to stay in a new place. Little more than by chance we chose Dimora Palanca which has opened less than a year ago. It turned out to be the perfect choice. Some fortune has no doubt been required for turning two old buildings of a run-down villa into the present seducing combination of charm, elegance and technology. The end result is pleasantly striking. Dimora Palanca a cozy small place, just a short walk away from the main attractions. As for all new places we expected some teething problems. We discovered only one. It has to do with the bathroom, where the interior designer insisted on elegance sometimes at the expense of functionality. But the important things at Dimora Palanca are all in place. Service is perfect, in a self-effacing way. The restaurant Mimesi is a great and enjoyable surprise. Most likely we will soon be reading about Michelin stars going their way. Definitely we will be going back there our next trip in Florence. We will not wait ten years this time. The city is now worth visiting more often than in the past.

We had a lovely stay at this luxury boutique hotel. Great service and everything looks very cool and chic. The highlight of our stay was the dinner we had at their restaurant, Mimesi. The tasting menu dinner best gourmet restaurant meal we have had in the last 10 years. Incredible.

Back in California, my husband and I cannot forget the unforgettable experience of our stay at Dimora Palanca during our visit to Florence to celebrate last Christmas. Whenever we travel, we always choose to stay in boutique hotels, seeking the comfort of a more personalized treatment and a quieter stay, while hoping to find some of the spirit of the city where we stay. Dimora Palanca exceeded all our expectations. The consistency in every detail, from every corner of each room to the presentation of each of the dishes was on par with the exquisite treatment we received from each of the team members. From the General Manager, Laura Stopani, to Giuseppe and Gabriella at the reception or the charming treatment of Giulio and Krizia at the Bistro, each and every one made us feel at home from the first minute until the moment of our departure, making our stay in Florence a doubly unforgettable experience. Life is built on those small and big experiences that make it extraordinary. Thank you for being part of ours.

This hotel is perfect if you want to enjoy some peace and quiet while being close to all of Florence's best landmarks. I loved the feeling of elegance, the light and height of the ceilings made the space feel bright and airy. The huge Sash windows meant the place was filled with natural daylight - hard to find in an old property in Tuscany! The whole place was filled with modern art, sculpture and designer lighting, very cool indeed. My suite was gigantic with a beautiful teal velvet bedstead and views over the courtyard gardens towards the cathedral. Best of all was the cream marble bathroom, sheer Italian luxury. What really impressed me was the walled garden, where in Florence can you find a private hotel garden??? One thing that should be mentioned is that this hotel boasts one of the best restaurants in Florence, a true gastronomic hidden gem.

We just had the loveliest stay at Dimora Palanca. My husband and I were initially hesitant to stay at a brand new hotel because there were no reviews and we had never been to Florence before, but the contemporary, bright design really caught our eye so we decided to give it a go. We are so glad we did! This is such a hidden gem. The design is lovely and all the amenities are great, but what really makes this hotel shine is the incredible top tier service. We had just spent time at two other 5 star properties in Italy that are very renowned for their excellent service (Aman & Belmond) and Dimora Palanca is right up there in that category. With the warm welcome you receive at check in, you will immediately experience what I am talking about. You can tell the entire staff wants to go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and make sure you have everything you need. As with many hotels closer to the city center in Florence, Dimora Palanca doesn’t have all the amenities of a larger, resort style property but they make everything accessible to you. For example, they don’t have a spa but called a nail tech and set up a mani/pedi station for me in an empty suite. When we asked for help setting something up, like museum reservations for example, they also made sure to arrange for a taxi to be waiting for us with the info on where we were going without us ever having to ask or think about it. They set up everything for us during our stay so that things were seamless and easy. They even took it upon themselves to ship some forgotten items from our hotel room back to us in the states at no cost to us. I wish I could shout out every single person who we met because everyone was so lovely but to those we interacted with most, Giuseppe & Gabriella at reception, Flavio at the bar, Julio in the bistro, chef Giovanni and the staff at their restaurant, Mimesi (which will get its own review, but if you are staying at Dimora Palanca-or just in Florence generally- do NOT miss a dinner at Mimesi!), thank you for making our stay so wonderful! We hope to be back soon!
