Absolutely no problems great service. Lovely husband and wife who were very helpful will definitely be staying again without a doubt The beds were very comfortable The balconies were a plus all in all a great find Also the location was perfect
Totalmente recomendable. ------------------------ Centric hotel with comfortable beds and a cool air conditioning in the bedrooms (especially important if you are travelling in summer). The owners were very friendly and allowed us to check-in and check-out outside the regular hours. To mention a downside, there are some rooms that are not well insulated from internal noise, so noisy neighbours may prevent you from sleeping. There is also no elevator, although the hotel is not very big and, if you don't have mobility problems, you usually won't missed it. Good value for money. We totally recommend it.…
Located in walking distance to the train station. 2 nightsHotel Balcony is an older hotel with spacious rooms. The decor is an older period and a little worn but clean offers larger rooms than newer hotels. Good water pressure.
Stayed in a room for three with my mom and sister. The room was clean and pleasant and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We booked a day tour through the hotel and I highly recommend it. There is no elevator but not many stairs so we didn’t mind it at all.
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Very close to the station and very near the centre of Florence. It was a 5 minute walk to the Duomo, and there were lots of convenient shops and bars within easy walking distance. The breakfast on the morning was very good, although it was a very tight squeeze one morning for all to eat. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the main highlight of this hotel. However the room was very small and dated. There was a kettle and safe in the room but the TV screen was so small it was unviewable. The bathroom was very dated and small, and the shower was from a bygone era. The room was quite clean but tired. Our room was next to the “balcony” which is an outdoor seating area where people can sit and drink to 11pm. Therefore our windows were closed all the time and shutter across. It was also quite noisy. We also had someone trying to put the key into our lock very late at night which was unnerving. There is no lift, so heavy suitcases had to be carried up the stairs. There was building work happening next door, but this did not affect our stay. Fabulous location and great staff, but next time it will have to be another hotel. …
