We visited Florence over the Easter Weekend and managed to secure a room here for a really reasonable rate.
Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. My one small gripe would be the hairdryer was a little limp for someone with long hair, but it...More
The Bigallo is located on the top floors of a building that faces onto the Duomo square, so you could not get more central. It is an easy walk to the Accademia or the Uffizzi. The hotel is on the main shopping pedestrian mall. The...More
Yes, the view is great, but you're not there is sit at your window all day. We had a loft on the 4th floor, but the bathroom was upstairs and tough to get up there. Early evening they lock the door on the 4th floor...More
Aside from the cold staff; this is a pretty good place. They charge for WiFi :-(. The entrance/reception is on floor 3. The included breakfast is packaged, not good! The general feel of the place unwelcoming!
The hotel location is the best. Right at the Doumo. There are a few steps up to a very small elevator. Reception is on the 3rd floor so if elevator is out this would be a tough climb. Lobby is adequate, partial view of Duomo....More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

Thank you for your question.
The garage is located in Via del Giglio nr. 24/red, it is not too far from the Hotel, which is in Vicolo degli Adimari nr. 2 (about 5 minutes on foot). You can also drive directly to the Hotel and leave the car in front of the entrance, and then we will call the garage: a driver will come to pick up the car.
We would like to inform you that we are located at the third floor of an old building, and that we have an elevator to reach the third floor, but it is not very big and you have to climb a few steps (about 5) to reach the elevator. We prefer to inform our you advance about this, in case your mother has trouble climbing steps.
