The hotel is absolutely poor value for money. You are better off staying in the centre of the city than this place which is about 2.2km from the centre. You either have to take a taxi which is not cheap or rely on the bus which is not frequent The facilities offered harks back to the bygone years. No fridge,...

Stayed here in 1983 for our honeymoon. We had such a great time in Florence and at the hotel that we swore we would be back the next year. Took us 33 years to get back. Still a great place. Still run by the same family. Hope it doesn't take us that long to get back again. Located on a...

Villa Belvedere is a beautiful property located in the hills just above Florence, an easy 15 or 20 minute walk (down hill) into the city center. The hotel is family run, a lovely old mansion with a smaller accommodation that reception referred to as the "little house". We were traveling with another couple, they had a room in the hotel...

We ran away from our air BnB after one night due to filth and on a Friday managed to find this sublime hotel from another time. It is a family run hotel with the Matriach of 80 yrs pretty much overseeing the quality control. Spotlessly clean, beautiful pool, immaculate gardens and tennis court all set a 15 min walk from...

Booked at short notice for one night during resort holiday in San Vincenzo. Staff were brilliant, sorting out some poor planning on our part. Room was very comfortable and well appointed. Hotel had charm and elegance, and service throuhout was excellent. Location was good, walkable from city centre. If we stay in Florence again, will rebook. Thank you.

We were pensive about where to stay in Florence. In is quite crowded and with a car it can be challenging. This hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood on a hill. Parking your car is included. Very safe. Not a restaurant on premise per se but the offer some easy plates if you have spent all day in museums, churches,...

Sitting in the veranda looking out to the city below and on to the hills of Fiesole and at the blue Tuscan sky , is our idea of resting our weary minds and bodies . The villa itself is a perfect setting for getting away from the distractions of a busy life. Comfortable , super clean , simple , with...

What a lovely bunch of people, especially the front desk staff. We stayed here for the night on our trip around Italy and it was worth every penny. Not far from Florence at all, has spacious rooms with a good pool (kids loved it), lovely gardens, plenty or parking and a good restaurant. Great value for money, would stay here...

Recently spent 2 nights at this beautiful hotel - wish we stayed longer. Has an "old world" feeling but with modern amenities including air conditioning, a pool, an excellent mattress and a WONDERFUL view of the city. Has a full service restaurant, a sumptuous breakfast buffet, large comfortable rooms and gracious staff. It's ~ 30 min walk to the city...
