This is a very nice hotel right next to the Uffizi Gallery. It could not be better located. Our room was a nice size with a comfortable bed. The service was incredibly helpful and friendly and they had a good breakfast that was included. We stayed here about 10 years ago and would stay here again.

Please let this review be an expression of our sincere gratitude for the hospitality the staff at the Relais Uffizi showed us while recently in Florence. It was our first trip to Italy and they couldn't have made it more enjoyable. Excellent location within walking distance of everything you'd want to see on a Florence vacation, and the staff was...

Would definitely return. Friendly staff, 24-hour reception desk. And being off a small alley off a larger alley off of the Piazza, it was quiet and yet right in the heart of it all. Our room was wonderfully decorated, beds were comfortable, the room was light and airy. The bathroom was outfitted with everything. The breakfast buffet was just enough...

We stayed at the Relais Uffizi for two nights and couldn't have been more pleased. The position couldn't have been better. While the sittingnroom looked out over the Piazza the bedrooms were at the back and so lovely and quiet. The bedroom was large and clean and had free wifi. The breakfast room was lovely and breakfast adequate. The staff,...

Perfect location in a little alley way on the Piazza della Signoria. We stayed in the Annex which was quiet & extremley clean. Yes the rooms are a little tired but what makes the hotel are the staff, they are helpful & knowledgable.

we stayed for eight nights in end of october-november 2010 and it was just perfect..the location is really convenient to explore the historic center..all the museums are literally at your doorstep! the hotel is in a small alley just next to piazza della signoria, so you can't possibly get any more central than that..it is in an old building and...

We really enjoyed our recent three-night stay at the Relais Uffizi, our fourth visit since 2006. The hotel’s location is superb…located just very short walk from the Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi. Our room was spacious and spotless. The staff, particularly Alessandro and Atsko, was just wonderful. They graciously arranged for transportation between the train station and the airport...

My husband and I, having lived in Florence for several years, chose the Relais Uffizi for its location just steps from the Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi. We found the hotel to be charming and very welcoming. The mostly young and international staff were fluent in both Italian and English, and made very helpful suggestions, in addition to booking...

After reading many reviews of the Relais Uffizi, I almost feel that there must be two hotels with the same name. I will agree that this hotel is superbly located literally around the corner from the Uffizi and other important sites. My heart sank when we were shown our room, a worn and unattractive room just off the reception area...

We stayed in the Uffizi House which is the annex to the hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had lovely breakfasts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One criticism though is the annex is on a fairly noisy alley and the door is heavy so as people come and go you are woken by the noise. Not an...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
