The hotel was far away from any of the action of Florence although it is labeled as a central hotel. The wifi never worked for us which was a real nightmare when trying to organise travel and decide what to do with our days. The TV and plug sockets also did not work. The rooms were fine for a budget...

We checked in at 10pm and checked out as soon as we could! I have nothing positive to say about this hotel and having gone on my honeymoon I will never forget the awful experience. When we arrived we were greated by the elderly receptionist who told us that the hotel was like the Divine Comedy. The rooms:heaven; the reception:...

For the price that we paid it was the worse choice. It was far from the center although there was a bus stop 200 meters away, the room was terrible, we had a bathroom designed for disabled people. The staff was nice but other than this positive thing everything else was wrong. If you go there at least don't get...

Simply all we needed as a base to explore Florence from. The rooms were decorated traditionally, very spacious and had all we needed. The breakfast buffet offered a wide choice and the staff were friendly and always on hand to offer advice. Would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend.

They have really good prices but you aren't getting much for your money, just the basics: bed, toilet, shower. It is also about 3 km outside the historic centre, but there is a bus stop literally around the corner that takes you to the train station in about 15 minutes; otherwise it is a taxi ride in or a 45...

We stayed for four nights, and expectations were that it was a budget hotel, and we were not disappointed. On the plus side, the room did have air con and a fridge, and as the weather was really hot, we needed both. It also has a kettle, but the tea bags etc were not replaced. wifi was free and worked....

We didn't want to pay for an hotel with Gym and Spa. We told the tour operator that we wanted a clean bed a shower room and a bit of breakfast; and that's what we got. However, it does need money spent on it.

We organised our trip to Florence through an agency. We were supposed to get a 3-4 star hotel in the centre of Florence which had great reviews and looked good, but we got sent to Airone as a comparable hotel because the other was full. Because of this I can't really comment on value, but I can say, based on...

Myself and my girlfriend were looking for a place to stay in Florence. We wanted a double bed, en suite bathroom and breakfast and that's exactly what we got. Yes, the hotel is a little bit dated and the walk into Florence itself is a bit of a hike, but we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were all...
