This is a nice hotel within easy walking distance of all the central monuments of downtown Florence. We were acually put in a huge apartment about a block away from the main hotel. It had a kitchen, huge living area and a very large bedroom....More
We enjoyed a couple of nights in an excellent location and friendly environment. This is a great place to stay in Florence, small but with all one needs. It was clean and silent, and we never had a problem sharing the bathroom.
Great hotel with amazingly personal and friendly service, this was easily the best hotel during our tour around Italy. We were in the annex in a huge room that could have slept 5 comfortably, room had great character and was really close to everything. Thank...More
We got room 2 and no view of the Duomo. A nice, treed parking area. But it's large and has its own bathroom with shower and a plug that accepts my wife's hair drier and curler.... not just electric razors.

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
