We stayed for a trip to see the Foo Fighters, definitely not the cheapest place in Florence but we had heard good things from friends. We were not disappointed walking in off the street and they knew who we were having booked a transfer that...More
Situated on a beautiful piazza in central Florence, JK Place stands out for its excellent staff and service: always smiling, lots of helpful advice in planning your day. The food was delicious, and the outdoor dining area looking out onto the piazza was an oasis...More
The only thing there is to say about the level of service you receive from this hotel is WOW!!! My wife and stayed for 3 nights as part of a 12 night stay in Italy and I left worried about how other hotels would match...More
Recently took a day trip to Florence from Rome and stopped here for lunch. We sat outside which was quite enjoyable with the exception of the pigeons constantly hanging out at the empty tables.

We travel often and widely and prefer to stay in boutique hotels. JK Place ranks among the best. Only 20 rooms. Wonderful, personal service. Great location. Lovely restaurant. Room was on the small size but fully equipped. Great bathroom and shower. Breakfast included plus complimentary...More
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.

We booked a superior double room which did not face the Palazzo. The room was very nice, quiet and had a large bathroom, but did not have much of a view. The Piazza is usually restricted to traffic unless they have a permit, but emergency vehicles are allowed access. Since we stayed in August, there was not as much traffic as June. I suggest contacting the hotel directly for more information on the noise level for Palazzo. Hope this helps.
