All you get is just a room with beds, but nothing else, no wifi in the room, the breakfast was terrible, the bath towels was very thin and useless. The room is also very dark. Not good for a family with children. The location is quite far from city centre - you need to use buses.

This is a convent turned B&B. We have stayed here every time we come to Florence and now they renovated it. Its not a hotel but they do a great job in service. Clean towels every day, rooms serviced also. Lovely breakfast and friendly receptionists that offer good advice and are helpful when they are able to be. Old convent... More

The location on the other side of the Arno is a good start. The food in the Spanish quarter ..even for an Italian is brilliant without the tourist price tag. We had room no 6 big high ceilings with a fresco, antique furniture big old robes, marble floors..good for hot days but no air conditioning. Lucky it's Autumn. The grounds... More

Advantages: the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff members are kind. The location of the hotel is very good (walk distance of Duomo, Uffizy gallery,...) Disadvantages: only 2 outlets for the room, you have to choose between the fan, the bedside lamp, the mosquito repeller or charge your cell phone. No hairdryer (not a problem during the... More

This hotel was the only bad exception from the places we stayed at during our Italian roadtrip. The location of the hotel is great, it's very close to the historic city center. The garden was beautiful, but we couldn't enjoy it more than five minutes during the evening because of the mosquitoes. Our car was parked behind closed gates, it... More

The monastery has helped the Holicaust survivors. Now they have converted most of the convent into a hotel. Awesome historic building. There are great old furniture in it. You actually use them, sit on them. However the rooms has basic necessities. Nothing extravagant . Dont expect a luxury accomodation. Just basic but nice enviorement. High ceilings. Creepy at night ;)... More

The staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms clean. The breakfast is simple but good. For a family of 5, we booked two rooms - both with washrooms. The courtyard is a nice quiet place to relax in the midst of busy Florence. Also a number of common rooms. We played games in one of them that opens... More

Not what I expect to have in my family vacations. Got a big room for 4. Here what's inside: Six single beds with small coffee tables in between, two basic cloth chests and one table and two or tree chairs... honestly it felt like a test, a weird experiment, or atonement. We had bathroom inside the room that was a... More

I tend to stay a little off the beaten path but walking distance to the city center. These accommodations are in an old monastery in a local neighborhood with great restaurants. The room we had for 3 was spacious and the breakfast in the morning offered good variety to start the day. We arrived in Florence by train and this... More
