We wanted a perfect non modern hotel in Florence and this beautiful 19th century converted palazzo was perfect for us ! High ceilings, wooden furnishings and a view overlooking a piazza with statues and gardens was just what we wanted ! Breakfast room lovely and seating outside, staff very helpful and friendly ! Tiny fault of website saying they had a laundry service but that is all. Would love to return !
I love that this hotel is close to everything in Florence. Just a 5-10 minute walk to Piazza del Dumo, shopping, gelato, trattorias, cafes, and even 10-15 min walk to the main train station (Sta Maria Novella). The space was spacious, and clean, and they have a nice balcony for breakfast.
This is a typical townhouse type hotel with extras! It has very good, helpful friendly staff. There is a garden at the rear which is a lovely area. The rooms are spotless with good air conditioning. There is a very nice lounge/bar area. The hotel is in a good position not far the central railway station and many piazza’s with restaurants and bars.
Great hotel. Really nice bar and garden area. Friendly helpful staff and good location. Beds were a little uncomfortable but rooms great otherwise. Air con very good. Easy to find from the train station too. Would book again if visiting Florence.
I have been ONLY one night unfortunately but that is an occasion to be there again in the future Wonderful Hotel manage by a Lovely family Comfortable location not far from the main train station and super organised with lovely furniture Amazing job and Great Place
What a cute, adorable, nice and lovely little hotel! Nicely decorated Italian style, with the nicest staff. Close to the park and a lot of restaurants. It has a nice back yard where you can enjoy your drinks, and it also has a cute breakfast-room, with a small balcony with a Insta-friendly view. This is a really really good place to stay while in Florence!
Excellent location . 5 min walk from train station & central for restaurants etc . Friendly staff . Adequate breakfast . Room nice & clean . Bathroom on the small side but served its purpose. Free welcome drink , which was a nice added touch. We had an early flight so missed our last breakfast - no big deal , but the tip is to ask reception well in advance so they can provide take away croissants.
Lovely hotel, very clean and quiet, close to centre, indoor daily food market ( mercato centrale)with a fantastic upper level food hall is a must just for atmosphere alone. There was no hotel information in the file in our room (207) so had to ask about breakfast , no emergency numbers . Breakfast on 1st morning on balcony was lovely with a typical continental selection, sadly day 2 breakfast room was full, we were placed in a corridor adjacent ( felt like the naughty corner) , day 3 no breakfast offered at all not even a drink as we were leaving at 06.00am and breakfast wasn't until 07.30am upon asking the answer was "NO" disappointing really as I thought 3 nights included 3 breakfasts too. If you arrive by train make sure you walk straight through the ticket hall not tight or left, opposite is a McDonald's on the corner walk down that road until your see some trees on your left as the hotel is opposite some gardens and a bus stop.…
This place is perfect make sure to get a room on 3rd foot my room. Was 302 amazing view of the dome. Super clean staff is friendly. I had a tub which I love . So close to everything and a super great restaurant next door with amazing outside garden . This is great because you can walk to everything the train station was super close which made me happy too. They serve breakfast and have a terrace also a little bar area in back area very nice .
I was totally lost and the receptionist - Simon - told me everything I needed to know. Extremely helpful to a non-customer . . . so imagine how good they are to a paying customer? And for the record, nice decor.
