I stayed here recently. It was very disappointing. 1) There was a terrible sulfurous smell in our room and floor - this was terrible and even made it hard to sleep 2) The heating in the room did not work at all 3) The shower water temperature fluctuates so much, you can't have a good shower 4) The television was...

We stayed for four nights and we absolutelly recommend this place! The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and is next to everything. The shower room was perfect and had very hot water all day long. The breakfast was in a very cosy caffe close to the hotel and it had whatever you needed! We had a room...

Beautiful, modern rooms. Spacious and trendy. Beds are not the most comfortable but are decent. Fabulous location. Close to the Duomo as well as major museums and the heart of Florence. Walking distance to most things you would want to see while in Florence. Stairs are awful so take the elevator.

The elevator is so narrow that two people hardly gets in. Our stroller did not fit on it and we had to carry it two floors each time. It was not easy. Location is great. It is very close to the best attractions of the city. The room is large but there was a sink inside the room and there...

This place is all about location. Very central and walking distance to most Florence highlights. It has an arrangement with a parking nearby, which is useful. Only issue is that it might take a while for the parking people to como get your car, or bring it back. (About 15min) The rooms are no frills, adequate for a short stay.

The place is so close to the Duomo that you can see a bit of it from the window. Being in the center means too that it will be noisy in the evening. The breakfast is in a different place so you have a nice walk in the morning and can see the city waking up and getting ready for...

My wife and I stop here for two nights when we were visiting friends in Florence. I found this B&B on Trip Advisor and the photos looks nice so we decided to give it a try. I have stayed in a few different place before in Florence and this is one of the nicest places. It is 100 meters from...

a nice hotel with comun access with others dependances of the building with a very small and old elevator that make difficult to carry on the large suitcase. The personal are so nice and friendly Warning: the 3th floor smell awful maybe due to the very old drains the breakfast its tree block from the hotel but its excelent.

There was nothing that we didn't like about this place- our stay was amazing-the location, the staff, the quietness of the room even with the windows facing the "main" road, the size of the room, the shower, etc. Our room was huge with very tall ceilings, comfortable bed, and we could see the Baptistry from our windows. I don't think...

Just 10 steps away from the duomo located. Rooms are moderate size, bathrooms new and clean. Breakfast is served in a Restaurant, a 3 min walks away. Ist a small buffet, with very good ingredients. One Point deduction for the noise. It can get quite loud in the room in the morning, when the street is getting busy

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
