My husband and I recently stayed here whist having a weekend away in Florence! It was perfect for us! The room was beautiful and very quiet (surprising as it is right above the Hard Rock Cafe) and also very clean! Free wine as well which was nice! It was in a great location which was very easy to walk everywhere...

It's not a B&B. It's a cluster of six smallish but well-appointed rooms on the fourth floor of an office building (with elevator). Breakfast can be grabbed nearby (but be careful not to overpay for a 'full breakfast' at the semi-outdoor cafes in the piazza). The lone service provided: Rooms are cleaned daily. That's it. "Reception" exists only at your...

Stayed 29th September - 1 October The residenza is on the 4th floor but has a small lift (max 4 person or 2 with luggage) and we were assigned room 6- a double room. The bed was large and comfortable (if not a little short for my 6' partner) and the bathroom was well equipped and spacious (you could control...

This small (6 rooms) hotel is located on the 4th floor of an old building which used to house a cinema (now The Hard Rock Cafe). Room was beautifully decorated. And modern with all the facilities required. The wood floor and cast iron radiator were a nice touch. The modern shower room was spotlessly clean and included a bidet. One...

The locations is amazing. It is in the heart of the Old City, within the waking distance from all Florence attractions. Our room was clean and well preserved. The air conditioning works fine, which is very important when the temperature outside is 35 degrees. The staff is very nice and welcoming, willing to meet all guests's needs.

This is a small B&B with only 4-5 rooms located on top of the hard rock caffe. The building used to be a famous cinema in Florence , so this is a B&B apartment between offices !! The air conditioning is perfect but the rooms are very small with smaller bathrooms , they only have one suits. The location is...

The best thing about this hotel is the location - it's right in the heart of Florence. We were caught off-guard when we arrived and were told that Gambrinus was no longer a B&B, just a hotel, but there are plenty of cafes and pastry shops by the square which serve as great breakfast locations. As the person before me...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
