We were due to stay here this week on the way back from a family wedding in Tuscany. Paid in full months ago at a special non refundable price through hotels.com. Then cov19 happened, wedding postponed for 12 months, no chance of a refund... it was our risk after all. Spoke with hotels.com who offered to speak direct with owner Matteo, who very very generously has given us a voucher for all moneys paid, valid for 12 months, so we will be able to stay there next May, when our family hopefully finally make it from the UK to the rearranged wedding. Special thanks to Matteo for this kind gesture. Looking forward to the visit even more . Richard from UK

Our three-night stay in Florence, of the four cities we visited in Italy, was by far the most comfortable, and the one from which we had the best 'local's perspective'. Matteo was the most brilliant host; his hospitality, advice, and above all friendliness made for an experience that went above and beyond our expectations (which were already high, following other guests' reviews). Upon our arrival, he gave us tips and recommendations for Florence, and over the following days was always ready to answer any questions that came up. The breakfast each day was amazing, with baked cakes and pastries, bread, honey, jams, cheeses, cereals, juice, boiled eggs, coffees and teas, fresh fruit, and an array of dates, sunflower seeds, and such items. Also set in a wonderful residential location only a <30 min walk (or 15 min Mobike!) from the centre. The stay itself was streamlined and well-equipped, with room service, AC, a minibar, a TV, in-room kettle and tea area, all of which meant that, despite being a B&B, it was extremely comfortable and with the skill and professional touches of a larger hotel. The combination of the friendly chatter around the breakfast table every morning, Matteo's hospitality and warmth, and these professional touches, all combined to create a wonderful experience for us as guests. My only small, niggling issues lie in that the fridge in the room was weak, and so wasn't too good at keeping our water bottles cool, and, secondly, the pillows were much too flat to be really very comfortable to sleep on (personally). These issues were, however, to no detriment of the overall stay. Also, bear in mind that (our room at least) did not have a safe. I would recommend Villa Landucci without any reservations, and definitely plan on returning!

Dear Frankie, thank you for this amazing review! We tanke note of your suggestion and plan about implement the safe services soon. About the fridges they are limited by the superhot in this period. Pillows will be changed in the near future and hopefully you will find the new equipment on your next stay!! Looking forward to host you back soon. Matteo

My daughter and I enjoyed the hospitality of Matteo and Landucci B&B for 3 nights in May, prior to her college program in Rome. One of the reasons I selected this property was the on-site parking, since we were driving in from Rome. Arriving at night, Matteo provided impeccable instructions for how to enter the parking gate code, and how to access the property, complete with photos. Very helpful! The other reason I selected GOURMET B&B Villa Landucci was the opportunity for the on-site cooking class. I've taken maybe a dozen or more cooking classes. This was easily the best cooking class I've ever taken. We fell in love with Cinzia. She was patient, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She kept things moving as we prepared 3 pasta dishes and panna cotta for dessert. It was all hands-on and we loved it! My pasta-loving daughter nearly cried with delight with each course. It's a little walk into town but we didn't mind. The payoff is a wonderfully quiet neighborhood and superb B&B with many personal touches.
