This hotel is at good location, only 3-5 min. walk to Ponte Vecchio and around 10 min. to S.M.N. station, but only tak it if you are not considered good facility, it's ok to have bathroom shared but water runs small, you have to take shower fast than get a cold. If you plan to stay days, they only change...

No breakfast, no soap, they don't clean the room every day. It's more like a hostel but with private bathroom. Good location.—----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, i stayed there for 2 days, it is a kind of small hotel on second floor of a building.. the rooms are a bit old fashioned and they lack in the amenities which are a must today like drinking water, wifi etc. Also the timings system was a bit odd. We were asked to submit the keys in case...

Our room was huge and had a very pretty chandelier hanging from the ceiling. After many days of sharing bathrooms in Switzerland, I was happy to get our own private bathroom. The shower area was really small though; I kept feeling the shower curtain on my back while showering. The owners were nice and friendly. They gave us a map...

The selling point on this hotel is the location. The hotel is maybe 5 minutes walking from the Ufizzi, and 10 minutes max from the Duomo, with easy access to the river as well. The owner was extremely nice and helpful, and the room was nice and the place was very clean and safe. The hotel is a relatively cheap...

Hotel Cestelli is a small 8 room hotel in downtown Florence, just a two minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Off on a small side street, the hotel is on the second floor of an apartment building. The small lobby is very elegant and inviting and the couple who run the hotel are very nice and inviting. I was in...

Great location near Ponte Vecchio ( 5 mins walk) and right next to piazza trinita which is entry point to the street with all the high end labels eg ferragamo, omega etc. It is also only 10 mins to the main train station and if you have carry on luggage, it's an easy walk. the room was large with ensuite...

We stayed in a double room with ensuite bathroom for 5 nights. The hotel's location could not have been better. It was clean and simple and the hosts were very nice and accommodating. The only negatives were the noise and internet. Since it was warm we slept with the windows open and it was very loud since it is right...

I stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed the ease of walking to all major museums and sights in 10 minutes. The hosts were helpful with info on where to eat and travel details . I would fully recommend this hotel for visitors.

I did not have a very comfortable stay at Hotel Cestelli. My bedroom (Rm 6 I believe) was a narrow airless dark room that had a bare unused bidet, overlooking an air shaft. I was a bit grossed out by the open bidet, I wish they would cover it at least or remove it. The bed was okay, there was...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
