Our family of three stayed at 'A Florence View's' Apartments and had a fantastic time. The Renaissance Duomo by Brunelleschi is RIGHT there, all the time in front of your window, and the vibes are amazing. The host Giuliana is a wealth of information and does not tire to serve and help wherever she can. (In how many languages again,...

Probably the best part of our vacation in Italy.. we arrived from Rome and were greeted by our very friendly host Guiliana who made sure our stay was phenomenal. Everything from pin to plane was taken care of during our stay, not to mention the delicious personalized breakfast every morning and the view from the room is breathtaking... we eventually...

LOVE this place! Words cannot express what a wonderful experience we had staying at this gorgeous B&B in the heart of Florence! A friend recommended the location to us, and we loved everything about it! Our room overlooked the Duomo, and along with the wonderful breakfast provided to us by the sweet Giuliana, was an absolute marvelous site to wake...

We stayed at A Florence View B&B during our three days in Florence on our honeymoon and loved every minute of it. First, at our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Leonardo, who showed us our room and gave us suggestions on place to eat (which were great!). We were blown away by our room - they were not joking...

Just wonderful. Have here stayed here twice before, and we were so lucky that Giuliana and Leonardo were able to accommodate us for one night when Easyjet cancelled our flight. They always welcome us like long lost friends, which was precisely what we needed after five nights in another Tuscan hilltop town in a 'convent hotel' !!!!!! Thank you so...

This hotel was an absolute gem. The location is in the main square next to the Duomo and Campanile, and our room looked out onto the square. You can't get more central than that! Despite the number of people in the bars around the square until late at night, it wasn't at all noisy. The breakfasts were generous and served...

My partner and I were here recently (16th - 18th Dec) and it was truly a wonderful weekend. Giuliana was so warm and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble for her - and we really felt well looked after and cared for. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to one of the rooms with a view of...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
